Your computer doesn't see Japanese text like mine does. ^^; I turned it on awhile back; seeing the boxes drove me mad, despite the fact I can't read Japanese at all. @@

Oh, I see. Well, they don't quite drive me mad yet, but when they do I guess I'll have to install the Japanese as well.

For Windows (XP only? I don't know):
Control Panel > Date, Time, Language options > Add Other Languages > Languages tab > Supplemental Language Support
There should be a checkbox saying "Install East Asian languages" or something like that. It worked for me. XD;

It's installing it now, so we'll see if it works.
