My modem is fine, but its the computer thats messed up.

I hate my modem when it turns itself off all the time, screws me up cause it likes to do it right when im about to post or send a pm >.<

It happens ta' meh often too..(refers ta' the posting and send PM part) But the modem didn't turn off by itself.. Is meh sis who shuts it off... She drives meh nuts sometimes...

It can be, but not necessarily. Such problems can also be caused by faulty bios, faulty power source provider, memory problems (such as lack of RAM, poor processor, etc.), leaving your computer on for ridiculously long periods (damage to components from overheating), turning your computer on/off often (sudden cooling/heating that can damage components), and so on. "So on" can include a combination of many problems as well, some of which can keep getting worse.

That still dosen't explain why my modem turns itself off. >.<
