Oh god. 841 replies? And about 200 on the 2nd episode? WOW. Although I won't dare to go through the whole thread. Already seen too much of MAL hatred yesterday. xD

Add bad writing and directing and there ya go. From what I've seen, there are few vocal fanboys on MAL that even deny the fact that Mahouka has incest.

Bad writing? How much LN have your read?
And it has incest. No one can deny that. It's just not incest in its true form =)
 
I have an imouto, pokey. So yes.

And ZetaZaku - It has 2 episodes out ffs. Stop judging the writing before they get a chance to establish things in the world. People who've read the novels say it doesn't have incest. Satoshi here is a LN lover so leaving him aside, some credible sources from other sites have said it doesn't contain incest. I think you shouldn't make statements like those if you're not really knowledgeable when it comes to the show/LN.

Edit - Incest - sexual relations between family members. That's what it means. Just admiring someone from your family very strongly doesn't. My god, some people.

This man knows what he's talking about. I only watched half an ep and I could tell.

The whole incest thing is far too common and it is just there for fanservice. If a show wants to deal with the issue in a mature way then it is fine but when it is just there it bothers me.
 
I'd rather not trust the words of a guy who drops shows after watching 6-7 minutes of the first episode when it comes to judging shows, just saying. 'This man knows what he's talking about'. Yes, someone who deemed that a show has bad writing after one episode. One/Twenty Six.

But alrighty. I'm just an anime noob with crap taste so it doesn't really matter.
 
I also like how all of you except maybe Pokey take what I say seriously when it should clearly be taken with a large quantity of salt.
 
But you're actually generally right. :x Sometimes I really disagree with you, though.
 
So I watched past 5 mins of Mahouka and I no longer hate it. The whole class segregation thing felt rather forced though.

NGNL sure is some eye cancer.

I'd look for Nanana's buried treasure, if you know what I mean.
