I'm working on setting up a "waiting room" and I wanted to set up a 3 page event which handles how to get out of the room, the first page just being generic text, the second page having a variable requirement which is dependent on how many steps were taken in the room and to make an announcement followed by turning on a self switch and the last page requiring the self switch to be turned on, I was wondering if there is already a variable requirement like that already implemented in essentials. I'm at work so I'm unable to check via my game. I figured there was something similar for how the safari worked, but I know it has it's own terrain tag so I didn't know if putting that tag in the room would work in a similar fashion or if I even needed to do that. Any clarification would be fantastic, thanks in advance everyone ^^/

I figured that someone, at some point, wanted to do this in their RMXP game. So I went to Google and typed in "RMXP counting steps taken", because it seemed like a sensible phrase to search for. Maybe you can do that too.

Lol thanks Marino XD as I said I figured it was already implemented somehow but was at work and didn't have a whole lot of time on my hands. I dunno if I can work this Google thing these kids keep talking about, seems like a dangerous contraption.
