Info: This is an advanced roleplay, not for the faint of heart. In this roleplay, Pokemon can get hurt and bleed to death. And they can die as well. In this roleplay you are a beginning Pokemon Trainer starting your journey in Kanto. In this new altered world Pokemon have died out and been replaced by androids of the Pokemon.

Even though there not real Pokemon, there still very much like the real thing. Professor Oak has gotten, a hold of Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee and Pikachu and wants five new trainers to test out these new creatures. Your role in this, is to test out these new android Pokemon, by becoming a new Pokemon Trainer.

You catch and battle these new Pokemon like you would any other Pokemon. To you there is no difference between android Pokemon and the real Pokemon that have died out a long time ago. You start out with your starter, 5 Pokeballs and a new and improved Pokedex to start off with on your journey. This is an RPG of the Nuzlocke challenge. I didn't see any RPGs of this anywhere online so I decided to make one myself. If it's not enough info to be accepted I'll go back over, add in more detail and re submit.

Before we start there are a few ground rules we need to go over here:
    1. Unlike other RPGs on here I don't judge you by how good your posts are what Pokemon you get or don't get, catch whatever you want, however legendarys are off limits.
    2. This is based on Nuzlocke's rules, make sure to follow them.
    3. You must nickname all your Pokemon.
    4. You can only catch the first Pokemon you run into on each route. If it gets away, tough luck you can't catch anything on that route.
    5. Pokemon don't faint on here, they die. Once your Pokemon loses a battle it's dead and can't come back.
    6. Please, no spam posts. Your post must be at least one paragraph long.
    7. No, Mary Sues or Gary Stus, no one's perfect.
    8. When fighting each other try to be fair and don't auto hit. Give the other person time to react first.
    9. Don't be a baby, if all starters are taken, too bad you can't be in the rp.
    10. Don't ask me when the rp will start. I'll start it when I'm good and ready.
    11. We rp, like how the anime would do it. There are no levels, HP counts and Pokemon know all there moves. However don't God Mod and make your Pokemon evolve too fast. Wait unlike you've at least gotten the 3rd badge.
    12. This is an OC RPG, so I don't want to see Ash running around.
    13. Please try to post at least once a week. If your going to be gone for a long time let us know.

This is interesting. As a Nuzlocke Challenger I know what it's like to do a Nuzlocke. However, I think you should use a random generator to decide what Pokemon shows up first in a route. Just to make sure no one makes a Skarmory show up first in a route. And you should also choose when people win a battle, to make sure no one survives with all their Pokemon.
Other than that, I'd like to reserve Eevee.
    Inb4 Monotype RP.

Ok, Eevee is reserved for you for 3 days.

    My finished SU!

    Name: Kizina Taylor

    Gender: Female

Age(no older then 12 and no younger than 10): 10

Looks: Kizina ia the average height and weight of a 10 year old girl. Her skin is pale, and her hair is blonde. It is always in a ponytail, tied up in a red bobble. Also, Kizina never dyes her hair. Her eyes are brown. Kizina also wears pink glasses to help her focus on things in front of her.

She usually wears a white t shirt and some brown jeans, trying to go for a casual look. Sometimes she will wear a denim jacket with round buttons, though she usually wears it unbuttoned. The sleeves are one-quarter sleeves. Her shoes are just black Nike trainers with the Nike logo in pink on them.

Personality: Kizina is, in one word, determined. Determined to complete her challenge, determined to prove she can do it. She will do anything to complete her Nuzlocke Challenge, even sacrifice her starter Pokemon. However, she is quite shy, and will never just start up a conversation with someone. Despite this, she is quite focused on the job at hand. Kizina is a girl that is neither a girly-girl or a tom-boy. She also prefers cute pokemon to tough ones. Even though she was born to a rich family, she acts like an average person instead of a rich one. Despite how determined she is, she dresses quite casual. She is quite excited to start her journey.

History: Kizina was born into a rich family, where completing a Nuzlocke or other challenge was the coming-of-age. As of such, both of Kizina's siblings had already set out on their challenge. Her brother had chosen the Solo Challenge with a Charmander, and her sister had chosen a Monotype with the Water Type, so she could become the Cerulean Gym Leader one day. Being twin siblings, they both started on the same day. Kizina's brother came home first, and her sister came home soon after. They teased Kizina by bragging about their adventures. When Kizina was nine, she was put into a test battle against her sister's untrained LV5 Slowpoke with a LV5 untrained Goldeen. She epicly failed the battle, resulting in a lot of teasing. The teasing continued until Kizina was 10 years old. Now, Kizina is planning to go on a Nuzlocke run to prove to her siblings she can do a challenge. She is planning to start with the 'cutest' android starter, Eevee. She is quite excited to start her journey.

Starter(See Info for starters you can pick from): Eevee

Whoa, a Nuzlocke RP! I was signing up for another RP, but if this gets going, I want to be in this instead :3

    Why are they androids though?

    Name: Reekah Zeggart
    Age: 12
    Gender: Female

Appearance: At a first glance, Reekah looks like a thin, rather short girl who can't harm you much. It's not until you get closer, that you spot the devious half-smile she always carries, and the intense glint in her eyes. She has bushy, Purple hair (dyed) that reaches down beneath her shoulders. She sometimes keeps it in a loose ponytail, and she always wears a headband to keep hair out of her face. She takes a specific, red one with her on this journey because it's her lucky one.

She usually wears rather loose pants, blue or brown, and white or red t-shirts or thinner tops along with her newest hoodie, a dark purple one, that is thick enough to serve as a jacket. She doesn't have any jewelry or watch, only a pokégear that her father got her as a present when she got accepted by Professor Oak. Which meant a lot, since the family never was very rich.

Her skin is pretty dark, compared to most people in Kanto. She has a light brown leather backpack with her on her journey, which holds some necessities and extra clothing. She wears white running shoes that will probably hold for most things she'll encounter.

    Personality & history:
Reekah is basically friendly, but she can be a bit intense. She holds somewhat of a hatred inside, for people who consciously hurt other people, like Team Rocket. The vicious glint in her eyes gets stronger when she's battling. And by battling, I mean with her fists and kicks. She can hold her ground against much bigger boys, since her temperament has gotten her into trouble every now and then since young age in the school grounds.

She never really got any lasting enemies though, since she isn't unforgiving, and she most of the time sports her special smile, and compliments people. Part of that is because she's been taught to be kind to others, and part is because she feels others wouldn't like her if she didn't compliment them pretty often. Her selfconfidence is worse than it looks like. She feels different... like many girls in her age, but she wouldn't know. She hasn't got any real close girl friends, only a few guy friends she hangs with after school.

Her father was born in another region, but her mother is from Kanto. She's living in Viridian and was incredibly happy when she got accepted to get a pokémon from Oak. Her father is calm but holds that inner glint that she has inherited. Her mother can be even more stressed up or energetic that Reekah can, but is normally happy and kind. So, Reekah is a pretty interesting mix of her parents. She doesn't have any siblings.

    Starter: Bulbasaur!

[OOC: Are all "pokémon", wild and trainer owned, androids? Or just our starters?

Maybe we should make an OOC thread.

    Starting off!~]

    Reekah - Pallet Town

There was a few moments of nothing happening, and then the wooden door opened. The face of one of professor Oak's aides appeared, and he broke into a smile when he recognized Reekah, who was standing on the doorstep with a broad smile.

    "Ah, miss Zeggart, isn't it?"

    "It sure is!" Reekah exclaimed.

"Good, good. The professor has been waiting for you," the aide said and motioned for her to step inside the great house that was the Laboratory.

Inside, she was led through a couple of corridors, across some rooms filled with tons of books on shelves or mysteriously bleeping machines, and finally came to a big room where a man in gray hair stood by a computer screen.

"Professor," the aide said to get his attention.

Oak spun around and raised his eyebrows when he spotted Reekah. "Oh," he said and nodded to the aide, who left the room.

"So, you're going to test out one of the androids I've gotten hold of-"

"Yes sir!" Reekah said loudly, bristling with excitement. "Where is it? Can I see it?"

"Calm down! It reacts to noise and human feelings like a real Pokémon would, so if you don't keep yourself together, it will affect your Pokémon."

"Oh," Reekah said, a few decibels more quiet.

"Stay here for a second," Oak said and left the room through a different door than the one Reekah had entered from.

She didn't even have time to look around the lab before he was back, holding a shining pokéball in his hand. "This is your responsibility now," he said grimly.

Reekah backed off slightly at the grim tone, but stretched out a hand and took the pokéball. When she grabbed it, she felt the excitement come streaming back.

"So, how do I do to get it to open?" she said.

Professor Oak had turned around but now froze, hearing her words. "You don't know?" he said.

Blushing, she quickly did the only thing she could think of: pushing the big button on the ball. It plopped open in her hand. The tiniest creature leapt out, growing before her eyes in the air. As it reached the ground, it was the height to her knees, sporting a big green bulb on its back and standing on four legs with a face broader than any smile Reekah could ever muster.

"… a Bulbasaur?" Reekah said after staring at the creature for a moment.

"Correct, it will grow rather quickly and get quite strong if you take care of it. And please don't destroy it."

"But… a Bulbasaur? Couldn't you get me something… more fitting to my personality?"
"I trust he will compliment you very well."

They both looked down at the little green fellow, who made a gurgling sound. Reekah shook her head in disbelief, but accepted defeat. A robot plant would be her responsibility now.

"Be careful with him. I want you to treat him like a real Pokémon. And, there are some other things I'd like you to observe as well. It's important. Did you read the list in the e-mail?"

    "Uh… the list…"

"I thought so. They were the rules. Here."

Oak handed a piece of paper to Reekah and she read it. When she had finished reading, she looked up, trying to say something.

"Only the first pokémon in every area marked on the map? And I can only carry six pokémon at a time?"

"The last rule is common, to make sure trainers have even odds when they face off in professional battles."

"But what's this one: 'At all times, fight with your life, for your life.'? The pokémon... if it breaks, can a Pokémon Center rebuild it?"

Professor Oak turned to face the girl again, narrowing his eyes. "If HE breaks, he dies."
Reekah dropped her jaw. "Dies? But-"

"You accepted the challenge when you applied for this study," Oak simply stated. "Now you must follow the rules."

    Bulbasaur gurled softly again.

Just then a girl wearing a hat with brown hair came up to Professor Oak,"DIES! Grandpa, what are you talking about?" Missa asked. This was Professor Oak's great grand daughter and his grandson, Gary Oak's daughter,"Also, you still have that Pokemon I wanted right?"

"Calm down Missa. I have it right here. A Pikachu, right?" Said Oak, handing her a Pokeball.

Missa grabbed the Pokeball, excitlly and pressed the middle button. There was a flash of light as a yellow Pokemon, with brown striks on it's back, red cheeks and a lightning bolt tail appeared. It looked like a cross between a rabbit and a mouse,"Pikachu!" He grinned.

Missa picked up Pikachu and hugged him. Like Reekah's Bulbasaur, Pikachu was also an android Pokemon,"Uh...hi. Are you just starting out as well? I'm Missa Oak, Professor Oak's, great grand daughter. Nice to meet you. What Pokemon did you get?" She asked Reekah, while holding Pikachu in her arms. She decided to nickname him Puka, which meant, cute.

Reekah watched as the new girl bounced in and as she excitedly hugged the Pikachu. The professor's granddaughter? She probably knew a lot about pokémon already. But Reekah would learn quickly! Just to show that she could handle pokémon too, she bent down and tried to pick up her Bulbasaur, just as Missa had picked up Pikachu.

It didn't work quite as well, as Reekah couldn't really get a grip around the dinosaur-like little creature. She was a bit scared to accidentally squash his bulb or poke him in the stomach.

So she gave up, straightened herself up again and answered Missa with a slightly embarrassed expression on her face :

"I'm Reekah, and I got a Bulbasaur... And his name is Fred!"

They looked down on Fred, who simply stared back at the girls.

"Eh... he's gonna be really strong. Soon." Reekah said, trying to convince herself. She had much rather wanted a blazing fire type or something.

(OOC: I hope you saw my PM, it would help if you answered it ^^)

(Here's my SU! Will post soon, but I will be away for a few days for the holidays.)

    Name: Isabelle King

    Gender: Female

    Age: 11

Looks: From her appearance, most would assume she is around eight years old, because of her short stature, and rounded face. She has long black hair with a reddish tint, that reaches the middle of her back. It is thick and slightly wavy, though it's harder to notice while her hair is dry. Her eyes are a dark shade of blue, and her skin is relatively pale, since she isn't a very outdoorsy person.

Her usual attire consists of a long, dark grey skirt that reaches her knees, and a blue blouse with white horizontal stripes. She also wears a red headband to keep her hair out of her face. As for footwear, she has long white knee socks and bright red mary jane shoes.

Personality: Isabelle is a very quiet and reserved girl. Because she is an introvert, it's harder for her to make friends with others. When she does make friends, they are very dear to her. She can be rather gullible, so even if something is an obvious lie, she will take it seriously.

She tends to keep all of her emotions bottled up inside her, and eventually something insignificant will trigger her to start bawling. Whenever people try to comfort her, it makes things worse, because she just gets upset at herself. Give her a few minutes alone, and she'll recover pretty quickly.

History: Isabelle had a pretty fun childhood. She always loved to play with her three older siblings, and since she was the baby of the family, she often got spoiled by her mother and grandmother. Although there were some fights to be had, it was just natural sibling rivalry.

Eventually, it all changed. Her father divorced her mother and left. It all happened so suddenly, and everyone was confused. Isabelle was very upset, because she was only six, and she loved her papa. Trying to calm her down, her mother told her that he had just gone on a business trip and wouldn't be back for a very long time. She naturally believed it, but her older siblings did not.

There were many fights with her older sister about their father, but eventually it died down. They went on with their lives, though Isabelle still believed in her heart that her father was coming back. One day, five years later, she accidentally let it slip. Surprised that she still thought that way, everyone tried to explain and correct her, but she wouldn't believe any of it, and ran off to her room.

Later, her grandmother came into her room and told her she knew where her father was. Saffron City. Isabelle was both excited and frightened. She wanted to go and find her father, so she could prove to the others that he still loved them and was going to come back. At the same time, however, she had never been outside of her hometown.

Then her grandmother mentioned something she hadn't heard in a long time. Pokemon. Her grandmother had talked about them in the past. But they weren't around anymore. At least not many. Her grandmother smiled, and told her that she had an old friend who could help get her one...

    Starter: Squirtle
