:o Where's Dakota?

I see he is not a S-Mod anymore... I believe he has left the position, but I don't know the reason...
 
He left PC, because he thought it was cutting into his life to much. He has college next year and needs to be more focused on that. He'll stop by every now and then, but for the time being he wants to focus on school. You should all respect this, because it is a VERY good reason for leaving his position.

I think I'll leave it open for a few more comments, especially because Dakota might wanna post in this thread later.

But if we get any nasty or useless comments, I'll consider closing it.

This was in fact a very mature reason of him.... well, good luck to him then... I think many (including me) will miss him....
 
Yeah, and people could say goodbye here without making his PM box full of goodbye PMs
 
I understand his reasoning. College is very important.

What I don't understand is why so many people are leaving all of a sudden. :\

I hope he finds time to come back often enough. I never got a chance to really get to know him, but he was an interesting guy to be around.
 
D will be really missed (if not most by me), but with his school work and wrestling, it just became too much for him, which is perfectly understandable. He'll still drop by now and then, and go onto msn when he can.
 
True.. He was a good S-Mod, but school is more important :)
 
I think that leaving his position only would have still been good, because he had many responsibilities in PC as a S-mod, but IMHO the word 'leaving' is always a bit exaggerated: I am a student in college as well, and I have much to study (mind you I'm working right now on an assignment due in tomorrow >_<) but still, I can now and then type in www.pokecommunity.com and check out what is going on in the forum, you know, just for fun and as a normal member. It's not always necessary to leave, you could just be a less active member and I don't even think i'm that Unactive o.O'
Anyway, I'm not going to criticize anyone's decision because I am totally respectful about Dakota's decision... I just hope he'll drop in now and then ^_^

It's sort of the same thing I had, really. You give up the position because it makes you feel like you HAVE to come here... and it keeps you addicted in a way. Sure, I have like... no will power and I came back, but it really is a big help. o_o; He'd probably feel guilty with his lessened activity and try to get on more often, unable to properly balance out extracurricular activities, PC, and schoolwork. ^_^; I think he made the right decision, although he'll be greatly missed~

Don't start with your little "this is the end of pc" "All the staffies are leaving" "I'm better then you" bit again...we DON'T need to go through that again -_-;.
