I figured that out sometime after beating the 7th gym. I was pretty much messing around on my badge case at that time.

On the badges you can shine them to 4 sparkles, and you can play 'twinkle twinkle little star' on it as well.

did you guys know you could polish your badges with your stylus? i just found out and it blew my mind. my eyes kind of hurt from the shininess XD

do you guys know of any other cool things in the game that other people may not know about?​

Also, each day that passes, without polishing the badges, they will get darker.

I shined 7 of my badges to 2 sparkles, and 1 [Sunyshore, the coolest one IMO] to 4 sparkles. =D
