So, I decided to make a team consisting of each Generation's obligatory bird Pokemon. It was incredibly hard, mostly because they can really only do two things. Needless to say, I could use plenty of help for the team. And this isn't really meant for any specific tier, either.

    Trouble (Pidgeot) @ Choice Band
    Ability: Tangled Feet
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Adamant Nature
    - Brave Bird
    - Return
    - U-turn
    - Steel Wing

Pidgeot, obviously, is a physical attacker. I slapped a Choice Band on it, gave it the standard Choice Band moveset, and also gave him Steel Wing to deal with Fairy types. Not too much else to say.

    Hedwig (Noctowl) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Insomnia
    EVs: 252 SDef / 248 HP / 8 SAtk
    Calm Nature
    - Roost
    - Toxic
    - Substitute
    - Psychic

Noctowl makes a very good special wall and Toxic staller. He stays alive for a long time usually, and I decided to give him Psychic for the sake of coverage, as most of the birds have the same movepool.

Hard to Swellow (Swellow) @ Flame Orb
    Ability: Guts
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Jolly Nature
    - Facade
    - Brave Bird
    - U-turn
    - Quick Attack

A Pretty standard Guts set. Ideally, I can KO an opponent with Quick Attack to reliably set up my burn, and then wreak havoc with Brave Bird and Facade, or U-Turn if the opponent sends out a bad matchup.

Anthony Padilla (Staraptor) @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Reckless
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Jolly Nature
    - Brave Bird
    - Double-Edge
    - Close Combat
    - U-turn

Staraptor is one of the good bird Pokemon. Reckless Brave Bird does an insane amount of damage to lots of Pokemon, and a Choice Scarf lets me make sure the opponent won't get a hit in (yay).

Turkey Dinner (Unfezant) (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Super Luck
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
    Bold Nature
    - Return
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - Toxic

I really have no idea what to do with Unfezant. Some sort of physically defensive set is what I want, and for now I just have a second Toxic staller and a Wish passer.

    Fawkes (Talonflame) @ Flying Gem
    Ability: Gale Wings
    EVs: 152 Spe / 252 Atk / 104 HP
    Adamant Nature
    - Acrobatics
    - Flare Blitz
    - Roost
    - Swords Dance

Talonflame is easily the star of my team, thanks to it not being Normal/Flying and its amazing ability, Gale Wings. I've a whole tean with priority Acrobatics, no boost either. If I can get a Swords Dance up it's basically game over. And unless I calculated wrong, 152 Speed is enough to outspeed max Speed Jirachi so the rest of my EVs can go into HP.

A neutral STAB Brave Bird still outdamages a supereffective Steel Wing, to let you know:
    Brave Bird 120 x 1.5 = 180
    Steel Wing: 70 x 2 = 140

So in essence, Steel Wing is only good for Rock Pokemon (especialy Aurorus and Carbink).

Noctowl lacks offensive presence whatsoever and it must rely on Night Shade as a consistent source of damage:
    -Whirlwind
    -Roost
    -Air Slash/Night Shade
    -Toxic/Reflect/Magic Coat
    Nature: Calm
    EVs: 248 HP/8 Def/252 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Insomnia

A Bold nature reduces Unfezant's Attack, yet you're using a physical move on it. That's pointless. Change the nature to Jolly and the EV spread to 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Spe. Unfezant gained more Attack in Gen VI, so that's a bonus as well.

With Gale Wings on Talonflame, you really only need enough speed EV's to outspeed what you'll be using Flare Blitz against. Jirachi is the main one that stands out, not sure what spread you'll need though. I'd pump the rest into HP to remedy the recoil.
