How dare you accuse me of being a sock puppet? I may be Jack's friend, but this sure as hell isn't his account.

Three words: Dynamic IP address. Jack and I have the same ISP, and we're both on dial-up. It's not my fault if I'm assigned an IP similar or identical to one he may have used in the past.
 
I'm automatically labeled a sock puppet just because I have a Stargate-themed name. Wow, how fair and balanced that is.

I got banned for two months because the staff believed Jack was masquerading as me. Just because I like Stargate SG-1 doesn't mean that I'm carrying out subversive acts against this forum.

There was also that one time I used his computer to access my account. A stupid decision if there ever was one. I've gotten my computer back since then, but I just haven't bothered going back until now.
