Are you kidding? Selling the Wii for only $250 shows they're not in it for the money as much as Sony and Microsoft.
 
Uhhh, Sony's going to die if the PS3 phails.

They've already suffered huge monetary losses, stock losses, corporate trust loss, and consumer trust loss from the battery incident.
 
Its price tag is like n00b ultra-repellant.

For all practical reasons, only fanboys have that much money to waste on a console in the real world.
 
But the 360 must be doing decently if they've managed to start shipping again after the stock hiatus earlier in the year.

The topic was overpriced, corporate power-driven video game consoles. You can add to that, and then, if you wish, switch the topic over.
 
Personally, the article about the PS3 curing cancer really put me off, but other than that,
I don't really think I have much of an opinion.

I'd go for the Wii if I had to choose though, since I trust myself more with Nintendo than anything else.
 
Well, with the Crash Bandicoot series(along with pokemon) currently at the top of my game list, Sony was head to head with Nintendo until a while ago.

As I said, bringing Cancer into advertising just put me off too much.

True. However, I guess I should have implied my liking towards the PS versions to other consoles.
This is a rather lame way to put it, but Crash just doesn't have his "spin," any place other than the PS IMO.

As would I. The only Nintendo system I havn't been thrilled about was the Gamecube. It looks like the Wii will redeem it though. XD
 
I liked the Gamecube. The Mario games and Zelda are fun to play, not to mention SSBM, and Tales of Symphonia... but after that, there isn't much, sadly. Well, Pokemon Coliseum was okay, but I never finished it. :/ I might have missed some others too, but oh well. XD;

I want a Wii, but I need a job, and a TV if I move out of the house this year. D: So yeah, probably won't get it.

You never finished Colosseum?
Nice to see I'm not the only one xD

I want a Wii, but I'm probably going to wait a little after the release.
Maybe it will become cheaper or the wil be a konf of special package (like there was with Gamecube and Pokémon Box which I didn't get, because I got a GC pretty soon).

Sammi you are going to move out this year?

Same here. I usually finish Pokémon game too... ^^;;

I... don't know. If I go to college in the US, then yes, I'll probably move out at the end of the summer. If I stay here, well... no. XD;; There is a US college around here, so I could take classes here and still live at home. Then, whenever we get back to the States, I could probably transfer the credits to whatever college's nearby.

I'm still thinking about it. Each one has its advantages, and I want the best way (preferably the cheapest one, to be honest, since I don't have money). But I like the idea of going back to the States a lot... I really miss the US, despite living over here. ^^;;
 
Pokemon Colosseum was okay, It wasn't as good as the GB Pokemon games.
