Abra, Kadabra, or Alakazam?
 
Malamar has a different hidden ability to the other two. Spinda and Serperior both have contrary as their hidden ability. Malamar of course a contrary user, but its not his hidden ability-- that's infiltrater.

Aegislash, Metagross, Magnezone?
 
Aegislash and Metagross have Steel as their primary type, while Magnezone has Steel as its secondary type.

Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken

Typhlosion for being the only pure fire type starter (also the best fire starter)

Spinda, Smeargle, Drampa
 
Emolga is the only non-Legendary and the only one who doesn't have a Slow leveling rate.

Mothim evolves from a male pre evo, the others evolve from a female

Smeargle, Mew, Ditto
 
Mew is the only Psychic type as well as the only Legendary,
