    Trade Corner's Hack Checking Thread
    This thread is for requesting hack checks only. Not reporting hackers or scammers.

    1. This thread is for requesting other users to verify the legal status or legitimacy of a Pokemon you own.

    2. Do not report hackers or scammers here.
    This belongs in actual reports sent directly to the moderators.

    3. Please post as much information about the Pokemon you are questioning about. Including.....
    ....region of origin.
    ....IVs, nature, ability.
    ....ribbons.
    ....where you received it from.
    ....OT/ID.
    ....the more information the better.

    4. Sometimes, in-game information is not enough for us to deem it legit.
    In those cases, you can request a PKHeX hack-check.

    5. Please use this thread for everything you are unsure about.
    Especially Event Pokemon that are too good to be true.

    6. If your Pokemon is deemed to be a hack, please do not trade it on these forums.

    7. Most importantly: It is not your fault if a Pokemon you received is hacked.
    Do not worry about posting it here. We are here to help.


    PKHeX Hack-checking

    PKHeX is an external program that is used to check a Pokémon's legal status.
    Since it can show all of a Pokémon's data, it is the safest hack-check you can get.

    1. Before requesting a PKHeX check, make sure to post all of the Pokémon's info here, as stated above.

    2. Official PKHeX checkers are.....

    3. Do NOT accept PKHeX checks from anyone else.
    If you did and your Pokémon was stolen, send a report directly to Keiran or Soapy ❤

    4. The checker's verdict is final.
    Even if the Pokémon is Legal but the checkers deem it hacked, you cannot trade that Pokémon here.
    Refer to our Glossary to see the distinction between Legal and Legit.

    5. If you want to be added to the official PKHeX checker list.....
    Contact Soapy ❤ or Keiran. Your acceptance is not guaranteed.

    Kyogre and latias are not legit since those two abilities are impossible to get on those pokemon

    As far as I can tell your jirachi is legit and kyogre is iffy but legal so I think you're good

    sounds legit but unfortunately it can't be traded here. one check is try to upload it onto GTS or wondertrade it. if you are able to then it is hacked...

    Can a non Japanese shiny mew be in a cherish ball? As far as I remember there wasn't any event regarding a shiny mew .. :l
