Out of all the years I've played Pokemon, I never saw a shiny until a few days ago.
I was catching all of the unowns and found a shiny H.
I guess you gotta start somewhere!
 
i found a shiny zigzagoon in Ruby once :) it was on an emulator though. I loved him. Named it ZIGGY (lol) Been soft resetting for shiny legends and starters but no luck.. sat in car for three hours!! Trying for shiny starter. Finally gave up though. :)
 
JUST found a shiny Ekans ( Timid ) like 6 minutes ago while i was EV training my Scizor
 
I found a shiny haunter. I was so excited!
Then I bred alot of charmander with snorlaxes to get a shiny Bellyzard!

I have a shiny Muk. I caught it 3 years ago in Leaf Green. It's green and super badass.
 
Soft resets granted me a shiny Articuno, Suicune and Ho-Oh, but Articuno was a mistake - it Struggled itself the first time round, then I reset, and there it was, shiny! Took loads of tries to get shiny Suicune and Ho-Oh, though.
 
I'm currently trying to SR to get a Shiny Suicune, but as of right now, the only shinies i have on my SS is The shiny Red Garaydos(however you spell it) and the GameStop Pikachu-colored Pichu.
 
Apart from the "cheat" red Gyarados, none. I've played entirely through 3 games, and never have I found a shiny. My friend has a shiny Tauros. I want revenge, so I'm going to SR for Shiny Suicune. But seriously, WHERE IS IT? I have 9 badges and seen it in all of the places, and had Misty return to the gym, but Suicune's not where it's supposed to be. :(
 
I've never encountered a legit shiny in any game -.-

I know this isn't to do with Heart Gold or Soul Silver but I caught a Shiny Snorunt randomly on Ruby, and my sister caught a Shiny Bellsprout on Soul Silver the day she got it... xD
 
I have got two shinys.
A red gyarados in pearl (just surfing and there it was)
Also i said to myself the next pokemon will be a shiny tenacruel... and there it was *craps pants* :P

I've caught a shiny magikarp, croagunk, and starly on Platinum, and the red Gyardos and a drowsee in SoulSilver. I still have my first shiny from Emerald too: a tropius.
 
I caught a shiny gloom while I was trying to catch a miltank.
 
Is soft resetting for a shiny starter on my HG version. I could care less Which one it is, to be honest~
 
what do u mean by soft resset i dont get it
