Official "How Much Are My Cards Worth" thread V. 2

Does anyone know how much spanish 1st gen cards go for? I have a ton but 90% are in spanish
 
So do cards actually go down in value over time?
As you may see I posted here asking the value of a Base Set 1 Holo Charizard 1st Edition.
The responses I got were $60-$80 US, one even said $30.
I remember when the cards were still in production they sold for $120-$150 US.
 
To answer your question yes, most of the cards have been going down.
For instance last year you could find a cresselia lv.X for $60 but now it has went down to at least $20-$25.
Un-like Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon tends to go down instead of up, but it also depends on sets. Like Base set, Neo sets, and some of the EX sets have a higher price range but most of the cards that cost like $60 back then have went down to the $30-$40s.
But your Charizard stayed the average price of $80-$120.

It's because since PUSA is mainly interested in making money off of the newer sets and rotate out the old, they make the prices go down because no one is using those cards. Now that the TCG world is getting more popular they focus on new sets.

Hey I was wondering what a holofoil swampert from crystal guardians a holofoil ho-oh and lugia (dont know the set, black and white wings crossed over is the symbol in the bottom right corner) a holofoil magneton with a holofoil pokeball under the attacks and a pokeball symbol bottom right corner a holofoil delta species dragonite and a jolteon ex is worth? NZD if possible or USD if not ^^

My dad also owns all of the sets of Pokémon Cards up to Johto, holographic and not. He has a Dark Raichu *Holographic* [Rocket] (Seen as the "Rarest" card?), a Dark Persian *Holographic* [Promo; Rocket], a Shining Magikarp *Holographic* and the Shining Tyranitar *Holographic* Triple-Star that I gave him; how much are our cards worth, do you think?
 
uh at this day and age i think it'd be a lot more than just 10 bucks

i think you should wait a few more years then sell it
or just save it and treasure its awesomeness for the rest of your life.
 
Just wondering, does anyone have any idea on how much a complete set of EX: FireRed/LeafGreen would go for? By complete, I mean all cards in regular and alternate holo versions, all ex's (including Charizard), all secret cards, and a prerelease Wartortle.

As for Base set Charizard, most likely $15-$25.
