Official PokeCommunity Election #2 Discussion Topic

Ryan and Alex were not mods yet during the 1st election.
 
Andy said they could run last time, so we'll let him decide again this year. How's that sound?
 
Okay, great. ^^ I'm gonna start campaigning soon then.
 
Even if the rules were kinda messy, the mods were allowed to run last time, so disallowing it this time is just... unfair. Besides, there's no real reason why we shouldn't be allowed to run.
 
a. Potential canidates will be able to PM me with their applications come the beginning of March. Applications will be accepted March 1st to March 7th.
b. On March 8th, I will post the primaries. The primary voting will last for a week, like before. People will ahve the ability to vote for three of the numerous canidates March 8th thru March 14th. Then, the thread will be locked and the final runners will be chosen.
c. March 15th, when the final runners are posted, is the start of the final campaigning. After last time, and seeing that a full month is too much time, I'm gonna compress it down to 16 days. Then what comes?
d. April 1st, yes, April Fool's Day, is when the final voting thread will be posted. Voting will last... until the 10th.
e. April 11th, the final counts will be in. And I'll post the winners, and that'll be it - they can then go about contacting Higher Staff for their gifts. ^_~

Maybe you should reserve the final results date for... the 13th? It was really popular last time, so now that everybody knows what it's about, it'll probably be even more popular this time.
 
Exactly, and 10 days isn't much to vote in =/ I'd say more like 20'd be fair.

Oh okay. Well I think Greg should get the temp. mod thingy so he can run it properly, seeing as half of us are changing it for him ^^;
