Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar:

- Have sequential numbers in the Pokedex
- Evolve from their pre-evolutions at Lv.30
- Have pre-evolutions that are sequential in the Pokedex
- These same pre-evolutions are the baby Pokemon ones that evolve at Lv.30
- Have long been associated with the elemental punches
- Were introduced as stand alone Pokemon that later got pre-evolutions
- Have similar learnsets (in terms of levels that moves are learned, and which kind are learned. Magmortar and Electivire become exactly the same levels)
- Have similar Base Stat Totals (Again Magmortar and Electivire have identical totals)
- Are from the original generation

They are a trio, and two can be found in each game, akin to Rayquaza and Kyogre/Groudon mentioned above.

I'm sure GF would have given Jynx an evo if it was along with them. And another to add to the is not a member list Jynx was not a shadow pokemon on XD while Electabuzz and magmar were
 
I thought Jynx didn't get an evolution because it was controversial, not because it wasn't apart of the trio.
 
I heard some people thought Mr. Mime was just plain wrong but look what it got in 4th gen a pre evo.

I can already see some people taking Zekrom too seriously since it looks like a demon while Reshiram looks like an angel.

I heard some people got pissed because of the cross on Heracross, can't find anything about it though.

It's guaranteed that Pokemon will have controversies, especially since you're basically doing elemental cockfighting the whole game. Doesn't anyone remember Registeel?

Ha, they actually had to change the European sprites of Registeel in Diamond and Pearl because of the Nazi salute. The anime wasn't much better either. Electric Soldier Porygon was the most popular, but there are plenty of other episodes that received controversy. Can anyone say Tentacruel and Tentacool?
 
It was strange about the Tentacruel and cool episode since the episode already aired like 1-2 years before 9/11.

- Golduck will get an evolution named "Bossduck" (Bosudakku) if its traded with the item "Aqua Booster" (just like Magma Booster/Elec Booster).

- Jynx will evolve in a similar manner, evolution named Rachiirudo if its traded holding the item "Chilled Booster".

If those are true then I apologize for the fuss about Jynx. Golduck evo I see it becoming water/psychic. Ludicolo is no longer the baddest duck on the planet.
 
The Golduck Evo kinda worries me. Golduck has all around stats already, if they were given a boost he would be pretty troublesome:

His stats:
80 - HP
82 - ATK
78 - DEF
95 - SPATK
80 - SPDEF
85 - SPEED

He also has Damp and Cloud Nine. Both of those abilities could work pretty well in OU. Cloud Nine would make him a Sandstorm, Rain Dance and Sunny Day team counter. Damp would make him an Explosion user/lead counter.

Jynx's evolution would just make her special attack and speed even higher, making her a perfect sweeper for UU or OU.

Even if Golduck did get an evolution, it probably won't be near the awesomeness levels of Ludicolo.
 
I had this horrible dream that we got our first /Dragon set starters. The evolved to this hideous dinosaurs. I kept asking, how can a Pig evolve to a T-Rex. Glad it was a dream, in my dream, I could even look at the evolved forms I was scared of them, even in my dream! :laugh: Anyway, holidays are bad because without school, you just wait everyday for new info, nothing takes your mind off it. We need new info. I need to go out more.

I'm not sure you understand, but "all around" stats are generally considered mediocre, especially considering none of the "all around" stats are over 100 and only one even gets close. It's meant to be a Special Sweeper and, by competitive standards, its Sp. Attack is "decent" at best.

So, uhm, no. Considering the boost is probably in the 50-70 range in terms of BST, not really troublesome. 130 Sp. Att and 100 Speed could make it good, but hardly troublesome to a half-decent player. :D

i've always loved the thing xD

hmm have to admit that i've never actually OWNED a Jynx o-o
maybe it's because it scares me and reminds a bit of one of my aunts -shudders-

Ludicolo was a Duck? o-o; just thought it was a bad mexican design >.< oopshiii~

I think it'd be annoying not because of its stats, but because of its abilities as well. Sandstorm teams aren't the rarest, and it doesn't get better at all with that 1.5x SpD boost gained from it.

Unless I'm mistaken and Cloud Nine doesn't disable that of course, then I agree with you completely.
