5th Gen Official Shiny Discussion [ Black and White only ]

So wait a minute... how are you suppose to even try and get their shiny forms? Is it not possible? XD
 
It isn't fake as stated, but to be honest I hope they at least make an event for the shiny forms of them if possible. :(

Merged with the Official Shiny discussion since we're discussing the shiny version of Zekrom and Reshiram either way.

With the release of the shiny dogs, I'm sure they'll eventually have more shiny event Pokemon. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw Zekrom and Reshiram as part of that event. Who knows how long it'll be until the next event of this kind happens though, probably years. :P

I don't think anyone said they were fake, but the information on how to get them is.
 
Yeah someone was doing 20 000 + SR's for a shiny Zekrom ages ago in a shiny club on another forum and was never getting it, then it was revealed you can't get it shiny lol. But sonsidering their shiny forms are so... awesome it is such a shame. When I see shiny Reshiram I think of an angel. The colours are so angelic and it looks so mighty.

I knoowwww how cute is it! Appropriate for Autumn in Unova too hey? The colouring could not be better imo, and shiny Whimsicott is just as good <3

Shiny Beedrill?

I just encountered my first Beedrill and it was shiny... and I caught it! :D

Anyways... anyone know the rate of them? Just curious.

Gamefreak have programmed Zekrom and Reshiram so that the Pokemon will never be shiny, unless you decide to hack your game and use a 100% shiny code. I think this is because you fight it as N's Pokemon and that Pokemon isn't shiny under N's control, so it wouldn't be shiny in the wild.

Just to add onto this, so no one wastes any time on it : Liberty Pass Victini cannot be shiny either.
It's STUPID GF unfortunately programmed to never be encountered shiny ; just like Reshiram and Zekrom. I state Liberty Pass Victini specifically, cause I think Movie 14 Victini can be shiny. This is simply because the Victini itself is not programmed to be encountered in the game like the Liberty Pass one, so it doesn't have the same fate. If you make a shiny sprite, it must be able to be "encountered" in some way other than hacking, so this is my theory. :D

I really wanted a shiny Victini too, this upsets me gravely. =w=;

So I was grinding it out in Pinwheel Forest recently when a Shiny Pidove appeared!! I honestly probably wouldn't have noticed the difference if not for the opening sparkle sequence. :P So now I don't know whether to stick with my original plan of using Sigilyph or to ride my shiny Pidove - it's female. Thoughts?

Shiny ratio remains the same (; It is just that so many people are playing the game it seems like a better chance of getting a shiny.
 
Caught my first shiny like a hour ago, it was a sandile but I evolved it for obvious reasons lol.

Definitely has a perma-place on my team now.

It was one of the very first encounters ever, right after 5 Pokeballs.
It was maybe the 10th Pokemon I ran into. ^___^
