    Hello Poke' Community!
    My name is Emilie and it's a pleasure to be here. This would be my first post, so let me tell you a little bit about myself.

    I am 19, currently a college student taking Photography and a graduate from Graphic Design. My passion is art, not just visual. Music composition is also a lot of fun. I play piano; I don't know how to read notes very well.. I can, but I'm not advanced, but I can pick up on songs pretty easily by ear. I also really enjoy playing around with FL Studio every once in awhile.

    I'm generally really friendly unless you give me a reason not to be. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. It's exciting to see everyones different walks of life. So if you want to message me and chat, I'm completely up for it! :) No need to be a stranger.

    So that's a pretty brief description of myself. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. Now moving on to more forum related things.
    I have a 3DS, and my absolute favorite game is Pokemon Soul Silver. I've come here hoping to make friends I can battle and trade pokemon with (preferably pokemon that aren't included in Soul Silver).     What a nice introduction! Welcome to PC, I'm sure you'll meet lots of friends around here because we're a friendly community and I'm pretty sure that you'll get the Pokémon you desire, I used to play piano but I kinda got bored of it but it sounds like you've got a keen interest in it which is great!
    But yeah I'm always happy to talk to people so I hope to see you around soon and have fun here! (:

    Soul Silver was a decent game, but not the best IMO... several things could've been improved on. But it looks like it will be quite a long time before I ever get a 3DS... fortunately the new Pokemon games can be played on a regular old Lite lol

    Have fun on PC, and be sure to check out anything and everything that grabs your interest!
     
    Hi there and welcome to PC! Oh wow you really seem like an artsy type person. I wish I could be good at those types of things but I never was able to be that great. Best of luck with College! :) You'll be able to make a lot of friends here and enjoy meeting plenty of new people! (including myself if you wish :P) Were all very friendly and love seeing new members joining the forums to put their own twist into things here. Ahh soul silver.. I still need to play that area, I should really start playing those as they are said to be really good. Well you should also easily be able to trade and battle with people here so just take good look around. Anyways hope you enjoy yourself, hope you like it here, and hope to see you around! :)

    Haha yeah I love playing piano ^^ I'm trying to learn a couple new songs, it's coming along slowly but surely. It's too bad you got bored of it, but you must have found other things that have sparked your interest? :)

    Which game do you think would be best? I'm all up for picking up some new ones :). In complete honesty, I'm a huge newbie to Pokemon in general xD (trying to cover that up though, shhh). I've played Emerald on an emulator back before I got my DS, never finished it, so Soul Silver is really the first pokemon game I've gotten this far in. Haven't even completed all the badges yet. xD
    & DS Lites aren't bad :) the 3DS prices dropped quite a bit since it came out. Here I think it's only $100 now. Compared to what is was before I think was between $200-$300? Something along those lines. But really, having one isn't a necessity :).

    The community really does seem so nice here. I've been on so many game/websites where as soon as people reach a certain higher rank, it's like they become a whole other person. Not really that friendly :/. I haven't seen that here, it's such a nice change of scenery. :)
    What Pokemon games do you play? Any you recommend? I'm pretty new to Pokemon in general really (probably pretty shocking considering how long it's been around), so I'm looking for lots of different games to play. Soul Silver is very fun though. ^^

    Ha well that's nice of you! I got some talents but i'v always wanted to be good in your type of area. :P Oh i know exactly what you mean! This place is not like that in the slightest and you'll see everyone is really friendly. Oh well that's not so surprising since some people never got into it as much as others but it's great to see you interested. I just play games up to 3rd gen and maybe some hacked ones made by the community. (don't have a ds yet :( ) Oh I'd love to chat! You seem really nice and great to get along with. :)
