Hi there! Call me Rye!

I've been absent from the scene for years. In fact, the last time I've been active anywhere on the internet other than on personal social medias... was 9-10 years ago. I think the last thing I ever saw on the threads here was that there was FINALLY some form of program to edit maps for the DS games. I think that was nine years ago? Yeah.

I'm pretty friendly, I think. I enjoy video games, books, comics, and I really love theater!

I joined these forums to hopefully learn more about my current fixation: Making my optimal (FireRed) Pokemon game. Of course, the only tools I'm familiar with are 10 years old now, so... Any tips you could give me about what tools people use nowadays would be great! Treat me like an absolute newbie. I really only ever used YAPE and some map editors back then.

Man I miss FFXIV! As soon as I get stable internet I'm for sure gonna resub and preorder the expansion
