    wdyl is paying me back for reporting them to vbulletin!? why?
    how is this fair?
     
    who is wdyl, and what is wrong with them
     
    wdyl is a team that nullifies vbulletins and distrobutes them, i reported them, they found out (how, ill never know) and i get own3d
     
    I guess if they resent you enough for telling vB they had an illegal board, then of course they're going to do something like that. o_o; Can't you just take it down or something?

    MySQL is more secure and realiable than news on file..

    PHPNews uses mysql.... =/.... but it's really mean that they do that...

    There are many free programs that can crack a user's password. It's too easy now a days. But most programs, or at least of what I've seen on TV, doesn't crack passwords with special character (-,&,%,$,#,@, etc.) or course I have never used any of these programs so I'm not sure.
    I would just re-install Cutenews and just re-use the file that held all the info.
     
    u can prolly fix it by accessing your config file or doing as suggested above.. just reinstall ur news program/script.. skipping the (news)data files..

    i didnt do this- but i did get my password- they changed it to wdyl- i changed it to something different thought. i wonder if this has to do with those pc hackers...
     
    Why would PC hackers go for your site? -_- They would go for one of the Community Sites. If you got someone's illegal vB shut down, then that's almost indefinitely the reason.
     
    yeah your right- i manges to get in and delete the post; but im gonna be on high alert incase they do it again
     
    Imakuni it is never a good idea to tell about a illegal vB and if you do under a fake name because almost always the people find out so you made a bad mistake their
     
    the thing is: i dont know how they found out!!!
