    he could have caught a heatran on his own
    unless that heatran has impressive stats or he bred empoleon to get another piplup prior to than then yes he's a foo
     
    I say it's pretty stupid I wouldn't trade a lv 100 Empoleon that was worked hard to get it there for a Heatran... This time I would have to say your Bro... Made a Really RETARDED choice...

    But i'd say that was a bad deal.. even though an un-ev trained Empoleon is useless
     
    That's terrible. He should've kept the Umbreon and caught the stupid Heatran himself. People get so blindsided by legendaries and their 'uber-glory' that they trade their best pokemon for them. *scoffs*

    I'd never trade my Kyogre for some D/P legendary like Heatran. Not even Darkrai/Arceus/Shaymin...But that's mainly because of AR. Still, though.

    Once one of my friends had my lv.70 Blaziken, and when it came time to trading back, that idiot traded it for a mindless lv. 15 Zangoose. I was SO pissed at him.

    The empoleon, was there any defect on it? Like really bad nature and even worse stats?

    I like to teach people lessons, like someone wants to trade their lvl 22 Drifblim for a lvl 100 Infernape.. I (let go of my ethics on pokesav), then make a lvl 100 infernape with a rude name. Then, give it all moves Splash. Make all its stats 1. Trade!

    empoleon is a good pokemon, sure its moves arent that great.. but it could make a pretty effective staller imo
