Oh noes, it's that time again

Ya more soccer fans...now that makes 7! o_0 Well at least I got out of that fresmen thing...man how many times do people have to call you htat before they learn your darn name? Ah and now at a new school....10th grade better be worth it

No really, if I had some guns, you'd hear about a new mass school shooting in North Carolina. :/

Day 1 (yesterday): I get my schedule. I have 2 classes all day, no math, no English, no nothing. I'm stuck in some idiot class where the teacher issues us textbooks the first day, before we can even get lockers. :/ When I report to the Media Center (they try to give library a fancy name ?.?) for not having a first perod, I find half of the rest of the gifted students there also missing math, english, and first period (I was the only one missing 5th which is when we eat lunch). At lunch (I'm in the Media Center again since I have no 5th, and I also ahd no idea which lunch period I was supposed to go to since it is split into 4 parts due to overcrowding), as soon as I get my food and sit down it is time to go. I have to jam everything down my throat and leave. Then later, the heater (which was never turned off last year after winter) finally starts getting to me (as well as the idiots and schedule stress) and gives me the worst frikken headache I've ever had. It felt like my head was being slowly ripped apart by some rusty claws. As soon as I get home (the buses also left school about 20 minutes late :/), I had some Tylenol and went to sleep. I woke up and ate dinner and went back to sleep. That's why I wasn't on yesterday, because my head frikken hurt so bad all night long.

Day 2: Turns out the stupid new system (which I've hated ever since it was installed halfway through last year) stopped working as the AIG (Academically Intellectually Gifted) Consultant was fixing my schedule. My luck isn't it? Then later in the day she tried again, and it wouldn't let her put Biology 1 Honors in my schedule. So she stopped trying to add it and previewed it to see how it was without Biology, and voila, the only course on there was Biology 1 Honors (the system asked her if she wanted to save changes on the same thing about 10 times, all times she replied yes). the lunch line again goes all around the cafeteria, thus forcing everyone to eat their food without it hitting their tongues again. I have another headache, but luckily nowhere as bad as yesterday's.

:/ I wonder how I haven't gotten into any fights or anything all these horrible years here with these imbeciles. If I had a tiny bit less of self control I would have snapped two years ago.

Day 2, still loving it, but oh man, so much running, my legs feel like lead

Well, 2nd period is soccer, so we had to be tested on the mile, I got 7:13, pretty bad, but meh, I tried XD. We had about 3 minutes to catch our breath, then we got tested on the 400 yard sprint, so yea, I was dead.

But not, it doesnt stop there, coach tells us we have to show up to cross country practice, even though we didnt sign up for it. So, at the end of the day, I went to cross country practice, were we ran 2 and a quarter miles, so it was good fun

In, I ended up doing 3 and a half miles, on my second day @_@

Man, Shadow... that sucks. x_X; And I thought I had a right to complain when I was put into Applied English. (Academic is normal and the closest the school would have to a "gifted" class... instead of going to the school with the gifted programs, I chose the arts school.) o_o;; Now I see why you hate your school so much. Gah... I would too. x_X Is your locker in a better place this time, though? ^^; *thinks she remembered you complaining about that last year* o_O

I don't have a locker yet. :/ They are being stupid and giving them out in 1st period and not homeroom, and I don't have a first period yet so...

That is kind of stupid. o_O; I thought it was a universal thing to do the official school things in homeroom class. So what DO you do in homeroom then? XD;

You should run away to Canada. Most of us haven't started school yet. =P

Well, when you do get your locker, you better hope it works. I went through the first two weeks last year without a locker. For whatever reason, my locked was weilded shut. I knew this before school started because we had an orientation day. I informed the office that day, but nothing changed on the first day of school. On the first day of the school I told them again. Nothing changed. So I decided to see how long I could go on carring all my books around with me all day long. After a week, my bag just became to heavy and I complained. They gave me a new locker, and .... believe it or not...it was already taken. So, I walked back down the stairs to the office. They gave me the locker next to it. I was late for period one that day. Which is not good. Becuase for the first couple of months our bus was always late, and my homeroom teacher thought I was outside smoking or something. -_- So as if I wasn't late enough already...

I wish I had my original locker though. It was closer to most of the friends I made that year. Although, all I had to do was go down three flights of stairs and make a right to get to Erica's locker. Her's was directly below me.

I still have a month before going to school thank god. I just hope this year there aren't any snowdays like last year -_- They Delay school like crazy, Right Ashley?

September 7th as well (obviously :P). I don't think we've gotten out schedules yet, nor do I know when or how. This will be the second year of high school for me. I'm looking forward to this because I don't have to take gym! *Ganondorf style evil laugh* Heh heh heh... I don't have to take gym in high school at all!

Is it just me, or all of the Canadians going back to school later then everyone else? I am Canadian, and I am going back September 7th as well (I think, no, hope =O no, think AND hope =O!). Anyways, I find it odd that you're actually glad that you don't have to take P.E., since it's such a great class. You get to play sports for the majority of the semester, and you hardly get any homework. I am also entering my second year in High School (Grade 10), and I'm taking it.

I don't have Gym this year either -_- I actually liked Gym, not for the class but just to go and hang out with some buddies. I am taking Lacrosse for my main sport though. I barely got homework last year since we had a house system, it was mainly projects and classwork 83 minutes straight, 4 times a day. But this year, Early release ^_^

Yeah, well...I'm really not very guy-ish. I don't like sports. Don't watch it, don't play it, I see no point to it. That and the fact that I'm not too fit is why I'm glad I don't have gym.

I'm not those kind of guys who gathers up all of his buds to watch Football either, I'm just saying that it is a great class to choose to decrease the amount of homework you get. Meh, I hope to gather up the strength to join the basketball team, but I'm kind of rusty and I need to practice, and time is not exactly on my side. Meh, I'll probably just play b-ball outside of school, since I don't feel comfortable joining the basketball team.

That's not exactly what I meant. I actually do not watch sports. Not once, ever. I have no desire for it. The only one I particpate in is swimming.

*Shudders* Snow days are evil. I hope we only get, like, 1 this year. I had to go to school for an extra 3 days (well... okay 2 since they let us out a day early due to budget cuts...) in June last school year. I like delays though... going to school at 9am is so much better than going in at 7:40. At least my first period class is on the 1st floor rather than the 5th like last year. But I still have just under 3 weeks left of my vacation.

As for gym... I have to take it all 4 years of high school. It sucks... I hate gym. At least I don't have to take the physical fitness test anymore! Even though I actually passed it all last year! Too bad my gym class isn't 1st or lat period though... because if it was, I'd have early release or I'd get to come in late 2nd semester...

School starts for me in less than 3 weeks. I hate taking gym, because I don't like it and also anoying. Anyway, I am going into the 10th grade. I wished summer stayed around more so I can do more things because it went soooooo fast. ^_^

i get the excitement of going to High School this year, having gone to an Elementry school that went from K-8. Kinda nervous, but excited too.

I start school...tomorrow. Which is why I must go to bed early (as in a good 3-4 hours than I've gottne used to going to sleep at XD).

I'm at least going to be a big senior...just one more year and then college (which I hear is gonna be easy for someone of my intellect). I'm taking like all of my PE credits this year (although, I am gonna see if I can substitute an athletic class like Swimming for it) I've also signed up to take four AP classes this year. Along with getting a job, applying for colleges/scholarships, and maintaining my dwindling social life, this is gonna be a long and tiring year for me. XD

I started monday, this is my final year, exams coming up, woohoo I can't wait... not. :paranoid:

August 16th, in three days. *cries*

Between driving tests and going back to school I've become totally stressed. I broke out. NUUUUU! Oh well :/
