    Yep another new guy :D
    I've played pokemon games since I can remember; starting with pokemon red -played over 500 hours on that cartridge-. I'm one of those guys who thinks the old days were better, I cant keep up, only barely got to know the poke's from fifth gen whilst the sixth is soon to come; I have rediscovered the old games since its possible to play them on your phone now, I've tried a couple of the hacks I found here and enjoyed them a lot so far, what else is there to tell, I'm 18 years old, just heard I've graduated and uhm I hope I'll have a good time around here.

    It's still possible to catch up. You can get started on 5th generation, since it's been called the reboot generation, and Generation 6 is just 4 or so months away. And since you've graduated (congrats btw!!) you have plenty of time to catch up & stuff. :D

    Welcome to PC! New members like you are more than welcome to join us, as we are one of the best Pokemon communities on the net! There's loads of things to do here, especially downloading and playing hacks (which I see you've done so already!) There's still loads of discussion for you to check out, especially speculation of the new generation coming soon. And anything you can think of about Pokemon, we have it here in the forums! Take all the time you need to check everything out, and don't rush!

    I wonder what ice cream Pokemon would taste like. Haha, call me crazy, but I wonder if they don't have an ice cream taste but merely just are living things that look like ice cream! Anyways, welcome to the forum. :3

    Take a peek at the Metal/Color Gaming board if you haven't already - if you're a fan of the earlier generations you're going to have a good time chatting about R/B/Y and G/S/C over there. I played through Yellow somewhat recently and had an amazing time, still surprised me how good the front sprites were back then. Wish the back sprites got the same treatment though.. those were aaawful. :( It does take a while to learn the names and every other aspect of newer Pokemon generations and I can understand that; I still forget the names of a few fourth generation Pokemon since I never got as into it as the others, surprisingly. X and Y are looking to be amazing so hopefully we can all settle into 'em and learn everything relatively quickly! It's amazing that you managed to get 500 hours in your Red game.. don't think I ever went past 200 hours or so. You're quite the big fan, hehe.

    It is great that you can play older games on your phone and computer though, isn't it?! I've had so much fun playing through older games that I can't play physically anymore since they're not compatible with a DS. One of these days I truly hope that the older Pokemon games will be available for download through the eShop so we can all enjoy our favorite games on our DSes. PokeCommunity's hacks are quite wonderful as well so you have quite a lot to play around here. Emulation is arguably one of PC's biggest boards and we have some very talented hackers here. :D
