To be honest i thought this was a wonderful idea, every time there was a new game to be released i questioned if it would have all 6 regions or maybe be able to go back into a previous one like G/S/C and Heart Gold/Soul Silver allowed you to travel back into Kanto. I personally would love the chance to be able to go to not just 1 but 5 other regions. The ability to catch every Pokemon without trading would be awesome. But that would limit GTS and Nintendo is trying really hard to promote GTS usage. Ex: Special Vivillion, being able to use Masuda Method. so for me a quick fix is pokemon found in different versions. such as Firered: Ekans and Leaf green: Sandshrew. another problem is national dex normally you would only have the ability to register pokemon from different regions after national dex was obtained post elite four. maybe getting an upgrade for the next region after finishing one would fix that. Next is badges, that would be a total of 48 badges, 6 different elite fours, and 48 different gym leaders. thats alot of time. The 2nd to last issue is Space. they would have to put this game on a wii system or computer not a 3ds that cant support all the data that will be running. not to mention it will be well over 20-30 GBs of data just to save. The last problem is Time and Money. Nintendo will in no way spend this kind of time and money. they also create other games other then pokemon, EG: mario, zelda ect. so they wouldnt cause operation of making those games would be put on hold and piss off alot of mario/zelda fans. they also would make less money off of 10 of these games then 1 Pokemon X or Y. a game this size would cost, 50-100 dollars just for them to break even on how much they would spend on making it. also it would take 8-10 years to convert and change the game and all the graphics. and it would cost wayyy to much to even attempt to make it. Nintendo would probably be on the verge of shutting down before they decide to do this. a game like Omega ruby they probably started making it in 2012 or 2013 for it to be released this November. so all in all it would be FREAKING AWESOME but it wont happen unless nintendo is going through their endlife crisis and were about to shut down or were completely out of ideas.

This wont happen, imo. Several reasons already mentioned.

    1) Memory, pretty obvious ones. DO you know how big are game's files. Now imagine a game with all the regions, in 3D. Exactly, no.

    2) Story. All the regions, one story? All these games are not even happening in the same time, so you would need one entirely new story. Chances of making a story so good it wouldn't become dull even after SIX regions, 1000+ hours? Slim.

    3) Fun. You would need hundreds of hours to finish the game even if you went through it fast. It would just become boring at some point. Idk, I think it would.
It's like Skyrim for me, it is the best game ever, but after some time you just figure you know everything and it becomes boring, despite everything you still have to do.

Col idea, but not likely to be real. But Im fine with that, All Pokemon games excluding the first two generations which got remakes anyway, are connected anyway so im ok with the way things are :D

Personally if feel they should allow us to travel back to another region in ORAS. Idk how it would fit into the story but even then Kanto never really fit into HGSS/GSC. it was just another way to continue the adventure or maybe cause Johto Champion was the same as Kanto Champion(technically speaking). Maybe just fitting one other region apart from Honnen in ORAS would be acceptable for me. Like maybe adding Johto to it since it was before Honnen. Like how Kanto was before Johto. But all things considered a single game with all the 6 different regions is out of the question.

There are SOOO MANY problems handling that.

    1. Memory
XY was 1.7 gigs of memory and that was one region, basically a 6+ region game will take up alot of space, the closest we ever have gotten to 6+ regions was the PWT in B2W2.

    2. Level Curve
If im correct, you would need to finish one region by the time you leveled up about 15 levels. Plus, superbosses wouldnt even be a thing. The trainers would easily have to be sooo underleveled, that you could only level up so few times. And no one wants to battle a Lv.2 Rattat by the time they reach Unova.

    3. Game Performance
If you were to do such a thing, there is problems with framerate. XY runs at a 30 FPS. Think of it this way, modern CONSOLES, run at 60 FPS, and handhelds run at usually HALF OF THAT. And even then, it had troubles keeping it up at times. With more content, comes with the risk of performance. It would basically be a lagluster game, with more than a few glitches.

    4. Tiring Work
You need to see a game devs POV, because people want something. And development would literally take YEARS AND YEARS to make, and who would want to do that for years especially since people are stubborn enough to ask for a game inbetween release, there wont be time for other games.

    5. Money.
Funding a project like this, being blunt, is unnesscary. Nintendo would lose more money than make it, adding workload, and by the time its done, the 3DS wouldve been dead. So this game with 6+ regions, would get canceled before completion.

Its good in theory, but not in pratice.
