morty wont want a rematch. green is stuck on cinnibar. its been two days and jasmine wont call. and blaine is never on cinnibar on my game.
In order to have a rematch against the Gym Leaders, you will need to find them outside of their gym in a certain location during a certain point of day in order to get their PokéGear number (For Green, it's a little different though). Once you've managed to get them, then you have to call them during a specific time of day during the week in order to set up the rematch. This is the only way you'll be able to have your rematch against them. I suggest you read over the link I provided for you in my first answer for the Gym Leaders you are having trouble with, because it will answer you questions easily.

Other than that, I can't really understand why you might be having any difficulty setting up a rematch against them. :\ As for Jasmine, I say give it some time, she should call you at some point while playing the game. I can't really say when she will, nor can I say why she hasn't done so yet.

In Soul Silver what are the ways you can obtain a water stone? I looked up this question on a couple sites, but I keep getting different answers and I need a definite one.

Thanks in advance!

Here's a link that shows all of the places/ways you can get a Water Stone: https://www.serebii.net/itemdex/waterstone.shtml

Johto: National Park (Come 1st in Bug Catching Contest), Route 42 (PokéGear Phonecall)
Kanto: Route 25 (Show Bill's Grandfather a Marill in HG or a Staryu in SS), Seafoam Islands
Also as stated there, it's buyable from the Pokeathlon Dome. Note that the prizes for the Bug Catching Contest vary for first place - it could be anoter stone and is merely a chance to be the Water Stone if you win.

i restarted ss today. i got tired of never being able to battle blaine. so i sent my event mew over to platinum and reset it. i used an ar to get to red and grren was stuck there . its was funny. he is there all th time. he never left. XD

Hm, okay, here's my question:

I'll be getting Soul Silver soon, and due to the fact that there will be few good fire and grass-types, I've been kicking around the idea of getting all three starters.

My plan is to save before choosing mine, get one, trade it to my Platinum, then restart, and repeat. I'll then trade them back from Platinum.

My concern: Since two of them won't techinically have been my Pokemon (seeing as they'll be on unsaved games), will I have to go through the task of getting certain badges so they'll listen to me on certain levels?

I'll be doing the same the with the Kanto and Hoenn starters, as it won't matter because I'll have all the badges, but it could prove to be an annoyance early on in the game.

Help?

EDIT: OK, thanks Hiiro. I actually wasn't aware the game saved autimatically once you got the Kanto/Hoenn starters... That sucks. :/

Yeah, if you're going to do the whole trading, starting over technique to train all the Johto starters, then you will have to go through the hassle of your Pokémon disobeying until you earn specific badges. It'll be annoying, I know by experience, but if it's what you want to do then go for it. It won't be as tedious as it sounds once you start earning your badges.

As for the Kanto and Hoenn starters, it seems like you want to collect all three of each as well? If I'm understanding you correctly. You won't be able to get them until later in the game after defeating the Elite Four and Red. So, if you're going to do this keep in mind you'll have to start the game all over again just to complete the progress as when you trade it automatically saves your file. So, just wanted to give you that heads up if that's what you plan to do, or so it sounds like it.

I've heard that there's Diamond Dust on some days atop Mt. Silver. Does it hail in the battle with Red those days?

I've heard that on the few days there's Diamond dust there (i.e. same days as in D/P/Pt) Hail does not fall. So take that, Red's Lapras?

I'm thinking of buying pokemon pearl and playing it some before soul silver comes out so I can import some pokemon over, but how do you import pokemon from one ds game to another ds game? I can understand importing from a GBA game to DS game because they both fit in the DS at once but how does it work for 2 ds games?

With DS games rather than importing you trade from one game to the other via two DS's y heading to the top level of the Pokemon centre and talking to a receptionist to start it. (Unless you have wifi and want to do it one by one over the GTS but that's risky and timely, and I believe trading would be covered in the game manuels).

not sure if this question have been asked or not. i remember reading something about a item you get in heartgold and soulsilver. the item lets you add the music from r/s/e/fr/lg whatever one you have in slot 2 and play the music in heartgold and soulsilver. is there really a item that can do that? i think there was a video too. but not sure how i evening find it in the first place. i guess i was searching on google about heartgold and soulsilver or something. not sure

It's called GB sounds and you can get it by talking to a Gamefreak guy at the Celadon Mansion if I recall correctly.

To clarify and add to what level. said, it's obtainable as a key item once you get 16 gym badges and all. Essentially when used it plays the original GSC music instead of the HGSS remixes, and even has old-school versions of (the majority of) the new original tunes here and there for new places. It doesn't play 3rd gen music when you insert a GBA game into the GBA slot though. (But there is one remixed hoenn track on the radio).

o ok i see thanks. yeah it may have chance after i read about it. because if you think about it. alot of people have dsis witch doesn't have a gba slot. so you wouldn't beable to use the item. witch would suck for anybody that got a dsi.

what are Iv's and ev's? I keep seeing people use these terms but i dont know what they mean. Also, do these "shiny" pokemon have any bonuses or are they just shiny in appearance?

Shiny Pokemon are the same stat-wise as any other Pokemon - just that they have a different colour and are very rare, is all.

IVs are the individual vales each Pokemon has for a stat, and range from 0 to 31. One IV equals 1 stat point at level 100. EVs are effort values - you get one/a few each time you bet a Pokemon in value for a stat. Pokemon species only give a specific EV (e.g. beating a Geodude gives 1 Defense EV, a Zubat 1 Speed EV, etc), or items like Proteins can give you some (e.g. 1 Protein = 10 EVs, but can only be given if a Pokemon has less than 100 EVs for that stat). Basically, 4 EV points = 1 stat point, and you can have a max of 255 points per stat, 510 in total.

People hence train Pokemon specifically by exploiting EVs to affect their stats for competitive battling, and bred for a 'good iv' Pokemon as well, as they do make a notable difference. You could probably google for more info if you're curious about that.

Question, how many PC boxes are there? I have one of each pokemon for over 320 various species ready to Pal Park over from LG and E.
18 boxes 30 spaces each, like in D/P/Pt.

So I'm planning on SR'ing for a shiny Cyndaquil at the very beginning of the game, and I have a question -- when you select the pokeball and the sprite shows on the top screen, does it show if it's shiny or is it just the standard sprite and you have to physically check it after receiving it to tell if it's shiny or not?

HGSS is actually the first game which you can tell if a Pokemon is shiny of not from the preview sprite (meaning you can check for three at once). That's only for the Johto starters though, mind you.

If I have 3 different PCPs, would I be able to activate and get 3 notched eared pichus?
