I always catch a bunch of Drowzee outside Goldenrod, since that's where I am most of the time.
 

I'm running out of money though. :c
Breeding can be bloody expensive when you let it get out of hand.
The bank of mom is going broke.
I think I need to go mangle the elite four. :P

And mannnn, Griff, you're the only real breeder. :P

Hmnnnn. Now if only I could figure out this Method K rng stuff. xD
 
I took griffenbane's advice and bred with a flawless ditto for better I.V.'s and so I want to pulicly thank griffenbane for the advice and ideas on the breeding. It is coming along real well. I maynot be able to get perfect pokemon yet but I am still getting awsome pokemon all the same.

But no, I can't RNG breed. Furthest I've gotten is getting the natures correct. I can't hit my seed or delay or something consistantly.

Grats man, he's not near-perfect due to the 30 IVs but he's a damn good IV-bred mon and I'd be proud too if I was you. It's not easy IV breeding at all. :D

Yeah but for me he is close enough. All these people can RNG while I cannot so I am proud of this little guy for being so strong looking.
 
Word of advice to brand-new IV breeders: Don't get too hung up on getting the perfect HP IV. It's the hardest IV to pass down, and defense is second hardest. Oh, and breeding for hidden power is gonna be the most difficult so think about alternate movesets when you're considering training. :D

I'm breeding Pichu with Wish atm. So far, the "good" ones have speed in the teens. x_x
 
Hey griffinbane how the heck do you breed for hidden power? I did not even know you could.
 
It's very random when you're normal breeding. All you can do is plug your IVs into a calculator and hope that it's the hidden power you're looking for, or close to it. That's why it's a good idea to consider what alternate moves you can replace hidden power with, if you're not gonna keep breeding to try to get what you want.
 
You could try using HP Power Dittos, but like Griffinbane said it's very random when you're normal breeding.
 
Ironicly I never even thought of hidden power as a good move for me. To many other great ones to choose from I suppose.
