[OLD] Trade Corner Daily Chit-Chat

I don't now where to post this, so I'll post it here:

I seem to have problems while trading via Wi-Fi. When it's daytime where I live (GMT+1) I can trade without any difficulties.

Now, I've tried to trade twice while it was past 11 in the evening, and both times I couldn't connect to my trade partner.
Regular internet and Xbox Live connection both work perfectly, just Nintendo WFC fails me.

Is this coincidence, or is there something I can do to stop this?

It could be on there end.
Wireless signals or your DS's perceptiveness to them wouldn't really change during the day.
But do you get any sort of error code? Or is it that blue screen of doom?

But, 5 minutes later I performed another trade with someone else which succeeded, and I know my first trading partner also traded successfully not even an hour ago D:
 
I doubt its Nintendo's problem. Probably just your ISP or trade partner's experiencing more usage than at other times. The DS' connection is more "fragile" to minor changes than the other console's connections. They lag, the DS just disconnects.

Well, if you got an error code you should have entered it into Nintendo's Support site and it would have explained what the problem really was.

Have you tried trading with them again? Having you host instead of them (or vice-versa, which ever it was)
 
It was actually both of us trying to host. When tuma hosted it kicked me off the wi-fi and when I hosted it kicked tuma off. I traded with someone else when tuma got kicked off and the trade worked but when tuma came back and hosted again it kicked me off again.
 
Sometimes I wish I was a mod so that I can click "Edit this post", copy the entire post and fiddle with the graphics so I can figure out how they work.

Yep, from what I read, you can activate the event twice. One from an event, and one from the Hall of Origin. Too bad Azure Flute never got released. Wonder why...............
 

Yes, I know you can activate the event twice.
That would be why I said I need another Arceus.
I already used a TRU one, so I'd need Machina.
Except trading for events is just asking for trouble.

Or I can send you the Hall of Origin one. I'm not sure the Machina one activates it the second time. I think only the Hall of Origin one does.

I'm pretty sure I heard specifically that the Machina one does, but I'll google it.

Oh, hmmnn. You're right. Hall of Origin Arceus. I wonder if a Machina one would work too.

Like I said, I doubt it. It's essentially the same as the all the other event Arceus.

AHHHHH.
I need that laptop back.
Because otherwise I won't ever get to use PO again. And I had so much fun last night. Even though I ended up getting super lame teams. :C
