Anyway, i have beaten the elite4 but doesnt seem to unlock the 3rd slot of friends safari. any idea how it works?

Haha. Luck of the draw, I guess.
In order for it to register on my side that you've beaten the E4 then we just have to jump online at the same time and it should register it.
