    Im happy. At like 7:59 [its 8:30 no] I found a shiny Gloom w/o chaining or that fancy stuff. I was just training my Gallade :P
    The wierd thing is that in my head I was like "Hmmm, it must take so much to get a Shiny..." After about Destroying 2 pokemAnz, I found a gloom. Its lvl 51 and its atk is 115. Is that good?


    Please answer this question. If I evolve Gloom to a Belossom, does it become shiny too?
     
    yes... it's still a shiny....


    if you really wanted...you could GTS clone it and get Bellossom AND Vileplume... haha.
     
    Yes it will become shiny but check its sp.attack since thats what it will be better off using.(i think)

    It will usually take FOREVER on finding a shiny.
     
    thanks everyone... and wow.. its spt atk is 115 for lvl 51. YES Bellossom! it has more sp atk
     
    Oh, lucky you. I've been playing Pokemon for seven years and have yet to even see a shiny. In any game. Ever. Meh.

    Congrats anyway. Hehehe...

    And I would go with Vileplume if I were you.
     
    I've seen two shinys...

    The first was a shiny Kyogre, which I caught. The second was a shiny Abra, which just teleported away...
     
    Gee, I'd hate to come across a Shiny Abra...'Abra use Teleport' OMG! The Horrors!

    But lucky you! A shiny gloom, I love Shiny Bellosom! One of my favorites! I would clone it though to get Shiny version of both! And it's nature is?
     
    There's also reports of shiny Gravellers going BOOM! and screwing you over that way. :/

    The only shinies I've encountered in my Pearl was a Camerupt whilst leveling in Stark Mountain, and a Magnemite which hatched while I was IV breeding. :o

    Actually, Vileplume has a bit higher Special Attack.. But I still think Bellossom's shiny form is better (I'd teach it some Gloom moves before evolving too). Anyways, congrats on the capture. If you can clone, then that's a 2 for 1 deal. If not well, cherish your shiny forever. ^^
     
    OK. This thread is a bit pointless. If you want to ask for advice, you can use the Strategies forum, but I doubt a shiny can have good nature or IVs for battle. If you simply want to talk about shinies, you can use the "Name your shinies" thread.
