OMG Platinum Ranch?

    Well I guess we all could have seen this coming. My Pokemon Ranch is being updated to suit pokemon platinum.

    It's being updated to show new Pokemon forms. Such as Giratina's origin forme and shaymin's sky forme. It also can now hold up 1,500 Pokemon now. If you already bought My Pokemon Ranch the up date is free. My Pokemon Ranch's older version will be token from the shop and replaced with the updated version supposedly in Japan this month. It's unknown how shaymin will have it's forme changed though. Since it reverts back to normal forme after being deposited in the box. But It's probably going to change randomly throughout the game. Some people think rotom's new forms will be added to the ranch.

    I could have sworn I saw this coming! Unfortunately people who already got platinum imported from japan will have to wait a while for the update. I myself will download the update. Since I already bought the game. It's too bad I'll have to wait till after platinum is released in America.
     
    @ Bamachi ; Most likely, it'd be kinda redundant if it updated and you couldn't have your previous Pocket Monsters.

    I never owned the first Ranch, but I think I'll actually get it thanks to Platinum and such.

    I would love to update my Pokemon Ranch to have the ability to manage my Platinum. However, I have a Japanese Platinum and a US Wii. I suppose I will just have to wait until Platinum hits the states, huh?

    -Sigh-

    Still looks pretty darn snazzy, though. I will definitely enjoy the extra storage space! Perhaps there will be new visits as well. :3

    I guess so too. *sigh* Same area, same Wii. What else can happen?
     
    Hooray for the massive size increase! Now if only we could use Ranch to move the Pokemon between games, we would be set.

    ...I wonder, though: if they're increasing the Ranch size, do you think they'll also include a new Pokemon or two to go along with it?
     
    Yeah, having Celebi would be awesome.

    That would be nice. due to the fact celebi is barely obtainable in the US.


    I kinda look forward to this update. It love to have my shaymin transform into another forme in ranch. Giratina looks pretty awesome too.

    Yeah, I liked the requirement in Pokemon Box for GameCube saying you had to have 100 pkmn caught to transfer.

    I think that the ONLY non-japan celebi event was the US 10 ANIV Celebi. And AFAIK there have been NO celebi events outside of US and Japan.

    It's Nintendo, they created that many Pikachu's using their programs. Although that is a lotta Pika's...

    I'm 100% sure that you'd keep your Pokemon. Nintendo isn't stupid. Besides, the update is replacing the channel/game data, not your save data.
