Yep. Let's be logical and think about how many people really watch ecchi shows for their half-assed plot. A lot of the time viewers could do without the attempts at drama.

Got my vision checked for the driver's license today. I love going to the optician. Shit's relaxing.

Then I played around with some 2D sprites in Photoshop for a couple of hours, somehow forgot to save and lost it all. Oh well, at least it wasn't anything important.

Plot and story aren't the same thing, Sync. They're similar and sometimes interchangeable, but not the same.

But I'd say it's certainly the case because you're more likely to find a show that isn't an ecchi but has ecchi rather than finding a show that is both an ecchi and has an unintentionally mediocre plot. The former applies to the vast majority of modern anime, while the latter applies to a very specific group.

Speaking of that, actually, Netto, how was Legend of the Heroes: Trials in the Sky. Judging from your theme I'll assume you enjoyed it.

My point was that fanservice anime do indeed shoehorn plot into the show.

Sync, I get what you mean, I'm just saying that Plot =/= Story and therefore using story to reference frontplot is a stretch.

Of course fanservice/ecchi anime tend to shoehorn story in.

Indeed it was, hence why I said the two words can sometimes be used interchangeably sometimes.

The first instance of boobplot was a quote of my post, where I used the word "story", sparking all of this.

Blah blah blah, it doesn't matter. The moment's passed, anyway.

I need money so I can play it. :c

There are other games that I want to get first though...

My biggest problem is that I've all these games but only play or complete a few, so I've devoted this Summer to finishing games, for the most part.

So far, it's been going well. Persona 3 (Portable), Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 1, and Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor are crossed off my list so far, and I just recently started Secret of Mana and a No-Sword Run of Wind Waker, as well as Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 2, with the intent of beating them all before Summer's up. I plan to throw a Touhou title, A Link to the Past, and another, more main SMT game in there, too.

Part of it is so that I'll explore my library more as I'll have fewer choices by the end, but it also broadens my horizons and lets me explore the design of these games more thoroughly, so it's educational as well.

I have Legend Of Heroes: Trails in the Sky for my PSP. I still have to finish it tho. It's actually a fun game, but the title makes it seems like it is just a normal no must play RPG. Very underrated game.

Persona 3 was awesome makes me want to play Persona 4 right now but my PS2 broke :'( I also played Devil Survivor, I love that game but everyone says there's a even better version of it on the 3ds.

Yeah, Devil Survivor Overclocked, which is the version I beat. Supposedly it has an 8th day (which I haven't unlocked yet), New Game Plus rewards, and ending counter, and almost 100% of the dialog is voiced (supposedly, it has more dialog than any other game Atlus has done). Plus more demons.

I'd recommend it, definitely.
