345. It's a hodge-podge of things. The majority are publicly funded schools that are assigned a certain area to service and they pull revenue off of property taxes for that area and major financial decisions for the school districts (like to remodel an existing school or to build a new one) are put up to a vote within that area. Private schools are often run by churches and depend on donations to supplement revenue from tuition.
