Speaking of Marisa, I can't quite get this sig down. I like the picture, and it fits with the theme, but I want one with more color. More va-va-voom. One that fits the character in a more fantastical sense. Found a couple others but I'm not sure if they'll play well with my avatar

EDIT: Oh right, forgot this. Thoughts about the Answer (doesn't actually have spoilers, there are...other reasons for it being in a spoiler):

It's cool that it's a continuation of the story and all and I get to see the characters again (all of which I liked by the end), but...God...

So, first off, I'm just gonna lay it out: It's one giant-ass dungeon and everyone starts at level 25 with skills they didn't have at the end of the Journey. That second thing I can forgive, but the first is just...UUUUUGH. Apparently it only has bits and pieces of story sprinkled in. Supposedly important stuff but fuck that shit, I might just watch it.

The problem with this is that, apart from adding supposedly 30 hours, it defaults to hard mode which, apparently, only makes you miss more and the enemies take less damage/you take more damage- not really my type of Hard mode, it just artificially makes the game longer.

Plus, the Shuffle time is pretty alien to me because the Hard mode does some sneaky shit (or maybe it's end game stuff, idunno) and it made me realize that the Shuffle Time in Persona 3 Portable is actually the much less fucky Shuffle Time from Persona 4 (vanilla with Minor arcanas mixed in, since the Golden one was very different). So I can't even get new personas to fuse with my starting one so me and my party don't keep dying on the first two floors, they play the damn Mass Destruction Remix, and-

...Nope, nope. Ain't fun, and apparently people say it's just a long-ass grind, probably filled with frustration. I love a challenge, but this is more artificial/superficial than true difficulty and I'll just end up reading the story on the wiki or *shudder* watching it on the Youtub.

Ah, good memories. And I did. I watched the whole thing on Youtube, which is something I rarely do. I was pretty pissed. Good call on my part, not worth it at all. Especially since the climax is reiterated in Arena...which I already played.

After the fact I never posted my thoughts, but to put it bluntly (for now), it feels as if they tried to make Yukari an unlikable bitch there. She's already pretty aggressive in the main game (which made her a pretty divisive main girl), but here...they tried to amplify something that wasn't and undo a year's worth of development for the sake of making the story longer, because The Answer had no business being this long.

And a good number of people completely flip-flopped on their opinion of her because of it. I blame the writers more than I blame her, but it was her character they changed so it does affect my opinion, and though some people try to defend her actions...her reaction to a vague description that's mostly unreliable and also never implies to do anything but what it says, even for someone in blind anger, is such an unrealistically huge leap that there really isn't any defending it. They could have cut that part out and I imagine people would have liked The Answer more. And Takeba for that matter. Because Takeba...wow. The worst part is that it shows her at her worst and it never redeems her. She doesn't apologize and she doesn't care how the others feel. I'm truly understating the...grossness of her depiction here. It really is jaw dropping.

The Persona 3 anime's fun, Poki. Well, it's a movie franchise, but it's marginally better than Persona 4's shows (reverse from the games, where P4 stands atop P3). Movie 1's okay but 2's where it gets good and Bad Back-kun grows a likable personality (not even saying this backhandedly, since before he had literally none).

It's a better watch if you haven't played the game, anyway. Hell, it's better than the game. Watch 'em. Seriously.
