Season 3 is totally different. They fight 2hus instead of other vocaloids.

She had sound effects that could have come out of loony toons.

They did shift the focus to family quite a bit. However much I love Hibiki I have to admit that Tsubasa steals the show in s3. She gets some development and we see her imouto side a little more.

Was kinda put off by it being called "Shikamaru's Tale", but they showed...new stuff. And it looked cool, but I'm not quite sure what the new stuff is.

Also, Salad's being voiced by Laura Bailey in Bort the Movie. Fave Uchiha being voiced by fave VA...ohboi. I wasn't even gonna see it, but now...

Dunno why a tale of one of the more interesting characters in a series would put you off. Might be stuff from his novel, was the better one from the 2 or 3 I ended up reading. Although Kakashi and Guy's had it's moments [wheelchair guy and kakashi fought terrorists on a blimp and kakashi got a waifu].

It's nothing against Shikamaru. Just, as far as CC2's concerned, I'd have to wonder what a story involving him would entail and how hype it would be. They make magic, though, and they can do pretty solid storytelling by not cutting corners, so who knows. Besides, even besides that, the other new stuff (like the new combos) looks pretty cool regardless.

As strange as it sounds it actually felt pretty organic, the guy that wrote that novel seemingly had a better grasp of Kishi's character than Kishi did most of the time.

Don't think they officially ended up together but they were exchanging letters or something, think they made a joke that he's finally reading something that isn't filth.

@ Netto: I've not even downloaded Yellow or Blue yet. I'm playing Red first. Still back at Mt. Moon, plodding through catching and evolving everything as I go. Already got the entries for both Beedrill and Butterfree. No idea what the endgame squad will be since I've used everything useful on my team in the past, which consists of:

Magikarp - Already have used Gyarados in the past
Rattata - Probably not going to use past evolution
Pidgey - Already have used Pidgeot in the past
Spearow - Already have used Fearow in the past
Nidoran (M) - Already have used Nidoking in the past
Bulbasaur - Already have used Venusaur in the past

What to use, what to use?
