Yeh, da's Dark Souls. I'm a big fan of the invaders that really have fun with it though. Seeing a guy literally become a boss in Bloodborne was amusing as hell, and invader antics in general are pretty fun in general.

Even when you're on the receiving end. Sometimes. Nice cat, BTW.

Please, Mel. NMS is going to be the most revolutionary title since Duke Nukem Forever.

The originals were pretty campy fun. I enjoyed 'em a lot when I was a kid. Don't really know about now, but Hugh Jackman made a fun Wolverine. His one-liner in the recent one fucking made it.

Speaking of, since I'm kinda interested, you guys have any thoughts on 3? I remember quite a few people being upset with the number of cast deaths and the overall direction of the Phoenix arc. I didn't personally mind it too much, certainly wasn't as bad as Spiderman 3 or Dark Knight Rises.

Weirdly perhaps, I didn't like this sort of stuff when I was a kid.

I'm watching Future Past now and it's genuinely pretty good.

Although Storm's hair does get progressively worse throughout the series. That's a crime.

I'm a user for time travel so I liked that movie.

Going to watch Civil War today. Should be fun. Surprisingly I haven't spoiled myself apart from the comic ook plot

I heard Future Past was pretty good and the time travel antics were neat (if a bit screwy). Might watch it one day, can't imagine it won't beat out First Class.

But I was the opposite. I was into this stuff as a kid because it was superheros and movies, I didn't really have an opinion on all that shaz. Then I gained an opinion on comics and comic book movies (well, DC/Marvel- I quite enjoy Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and 300) and you guys pretty much know what that is, so that's me today. Still interested in seeing Guardians of the Galaxy, though; movie's got good humor and Chris Pratt.

Also, @Netto, any idea why Civil War's a Captain America movie? Pretty sure the original story was just general Marvel.

Oooh, we're discussing Marvel now! I read too many of the comics for my own good, aha. Mixed opinions on the films...although I liked Days of Future Past too because it made the awful first three movies figments of Wolverine's imagination. Days of Future Past was a very meh storyline and they did a good job with it I think :3

196

I went in to Days of Future Past with lower expectations than what it delivered so I'm very happy with what it turned out to be. xP I'm looking forward to Apocalypse but it's Doctor Strange I just can't wait for. xD

197

As long as Doctor Strange doesn't make a mess of Mordo or Dormammu, I expect it'll be good. But since it'll be part of the MCU, it almost certainly will. Can't say I'm keen on Cumberbatch either, but I'll give it a chance anyway. Can't be any worse than the FF reboot. xD

198

I think Cumberbatch was a pretty great casting choice. Looking at the trailer, I expect it to be pretty amazing. And, speaking of Dormammu, was he confirmed to be in it? I wouldn't expect him to be unless they seriously nerf him.

199

Sure, he looks the part, but I don't think much of him as an actor. It's going to be interesting though, as they've made a lot of changes.

No Dormammu confirmed as of yet, but nerfing him wouldn't stop them...the MCU has little to no regard for any villain that isn't Loki. You can't really have Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo without Dormammu anyway. I'd expect him to take a Thanos-ish background role rather than a central one, given how ridiculously overpowered he is.

I know about captain america civil war....I already read the comic book. Don't want to give any spoiler so that's it.

201

The Civil War movie actually has very little in common with the original comic event; outside of the fact that Captain America and Iron Man spearhead the two sides they're completely different in fact.

202

O! But it's based on something law right!

203

I can't really recall a role that Cumberbatch has played terribly. I liked him in Sherlock, and as Smaug, and I loved him in The Imitation Game. He's given me reason enough to expect good things. :p

As for Dormammu, yes, let's hope so. xP
