Took my mother out for lunch earlier. I'm just enjoying my day off and spending the evening chilling at home, just like I like it. :3

Damnit, I forgot yesterday was Free Comic Book Day...I should have gone to CGC yesterday afternoon or something =/

...although I'm catching up with old comics now rather than going for new ones. I hate waiting for the next part of an ongoing...anything.

I don't mind too much. Gives me something to do, something to look forward to. Anticipation can be a pretty good motivator. Plus it's fun to be excited sometimes, especially if you've thrown hype out the window.

But yeah, I missed it to. Shame, too, because I found out right after I'd gotten home for the day. Seems I forget every year. /sigh

Cross Ange! I loved that show. It's a stupid, illogical trainwreck of a show. But it's AMAZING. It's cast are messed-up yet extremely well-developed and either lovable or detestable, the soundtrack is spectacular, and it's just generally a really fun shitty show. Watch it. Unless you hate fanservice and are the kind of person who would take offense at a villain who is an extremely nasty jab at the self-insert otaku.

The show is called Cross Ange because Ange is cross all the time. I kid you not.

It is. Just don't take it seriously and don't expect anything particularly groundbreaking and you'll enjoy it...for Sunrise, it's pretty good. But yeah, it's complete trash. xD

Progress. Well, sort of. Eh, close enough. I think they're going to dub it in the near future too, which is going to add a whole new dimension to it depending on who they pick to voice certain characters...

Agreed.

I couldn't get into the first season...I've not watched the other two yet. I probably will somewhen, as I've been told - repeatedly - that it gets better, and that it's right up my alley. The songs were nice though.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. The character interactions at the start are about as cookie cutter as they get but that doesn't matter once you get into the meat. The meat isn't plot by the way, it's Hibiki punching things and fun songs.

Desperate for a release on the west. Would love to buy the lot on bluray.

I'm trying to get an idea what everyone's trying to talk about but I'll tag along, stalk, and wait. Then, I suddenly had a weird thought - What if i really did take up game design years ago and actually graduated from it ASAP? Would I have become the next John Romero, John Woo, John Carmack, and John Rambo of the video game industry?

Hmmm...maybe I'll pick up the second season in the near-ish future. Kinda floating between shows right now; not really in the mood to watch anything =/
