On the subject of Time & Space

So right now, I'm playing a Nuzlocke challenge on Pokemon Platinum. And I've just got to Eterna City, where I got to see a statue of Palkia, and read words as the leader of Team Galactic is saying whatever about time&space. And it got me thinking.
Both the sun and the moon are in space, and we, living on Earth, are using the sun and the moon to tell the time. Hours, days, months, years. Time and space, just like Dialga and Palkia, the generation 4 legendaries.
I don't know where this can lead, and all we have for now is theories and speculations. And I don't know if someone has already made a post in this subject, but I got that random thought and I wanted to share it.
So... What do you think :p?

I definitely think these games will have themes connecting to space, just since it has already been done in Diamond & Pearl I'm wondering how they're going to pull it off? Like you said we've got the Sun and the Moon which are both celestial bodies in space, naturally it would make sense for a theme to revolve around them and their power.

Like Blue said, I could see a connection to space with these games (alongside the already-present alchemy and endangered animals theme with the new Pokemon) but other than that I feel a mention of time and space may just be a shout-out to Diamond & Pearl which are having their 10th anniversary this year.

i think this time around its gonna focus more on stuff like ancient magics, alchemy & the classical elements(fire, water earth air void/aether/quintessence) and the 7 classical planets: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn and a mix of other mythologies relating to the classical elements & planets
also its interesting to note the symbols that appear on the foreheads of the mascots

Solgaleo's bases is pretty obvious that its based on leo, the domicile sign in western contemporary astrology for the sun & the symbol looks to be alchemy symbol for gold [PokeCommunity.com] On the subject of Time & Space which was the metal sun ruled over(moon ruled silver, mercury ruled quicksilver/mercury, Venus ruled copper, mas ruled iron, Jupiter ruled tin, saturn ruled led)

Lunala bases seems to be on vampires & bats. vampires have a connection to the moon via the first vampire ambrogio and his true love selene the moon goddess both of which are the adam & eve of vampire kind
as for the eye symbol, it most likely represents the mind's eye concept and some alchemists applied vital organs to each of the classic planets. in the moons case it was the brain. in indian astrology the moon represents the mind, queen & mother.
then we got the other 5 planets. if we count Solgaleo as representing quintessence while counting Lunala as representing aether, it would be possible to mesh my theory on a different thread into this.
also aether & quintessence are not the same thing
aether is a very rarefied and highly elastic substance formerly believed to permeate all space, including the interstices between the particles of matter, and to be the medium whose vibrations constituted light and other electromagnetic radiation and originally the word denoted a substance believed to occupy space beyond the sphere of the moon.
quintessence is a fifth substance in addition to the four elements, thought to compose the heavenly bodies and to be latent in all things.
    anyway...
anyway i think it might have something to do with the 4 around a center type myths
    the sets are
    1) the 4 symbols azure dragon, vermilion bird, white tiger & black turtle/black warrior and the yellow dragon of the center
2)the benevolent animals who resided in the yellow emperors garden: qilin, dragon, turtle & phoinex(also known as the 4 holy beats)
    3) theres the sun(east), moon(west) bird(north) & snake(south) with a bear as the center from the Rong Cheng Shi

whenever these are used as the base in media is mot uncommon for their elements and such to get tossed around(digimon sovereign & the 5 dragons in yona of the dawn for example)
now lets look at the 4 that hide a secret
Rowlet grass/flying type and a bird
Litten fire type and a tiger striped cat.
Popplio water type & sea lion
Iwanko rock type and a puppy
the first two are kinda obvious in what animal they represent tiger & the bird.
popplio is most likely a qilin. why? sea lion. no, not the cousin of seals that its clearly based on but the other type of sea lion which bears quite the resemblance to a qilin
    sea-lion

    qilin

then finally there's Iwanko. odds are it evolves into either a
ceberus was the 3 headed dog that guarded the gates to hell whose mane was made up of serpents so it could be the snake
it could be werewolf based representing the moon.
or a dacian draco which is essentially a wolf with a dragon or serpents body
obviously i'm just spit balling this out there an this may very well be more of something represent the mascots then those 4 anyway, but it may very well be that those are needed to unlock a legendary.
whenever their evolution get confirmed i may just toss the theory out then & there depending on what they evolve into
    so if we count
    Rowlet as jupiter
    Litten as mars
    Popplio as mercury
    Iwanko as saturn
and the possible 5th mon from that theory as venus
we got the makings of a classical planet set of mons
