"Once There Were Greenfields!" Episode Discussion

I didn't really like the episode...

But am I the only one thinking that on their way back to Twinleaf Town (since they always head back to the first town in a region after getting all 8 badges), that they'll run into Gardenia, and James will get Cacnea back, and it will have possibly evolved or evolves during the episode he gets it back? :3

It was quite sad, not really sad but Chiisaki Mono helped make it sad. Plus the flashback

- Wow, no BGM at the start!?
- Did they use the title background for the Team Rocket scene...?
- I liked the battles. Brock didn't interrupt!!
- The BGM with James and Cacnea on the hill was...odd...it reminded me of the Old Cheateu but I'm not sure because the quality was really low
- What was the BGM when Cacnea and Aipom were battling? The audio is really low quality on this video
- Chiisaki Mono instrumental was kept in, cool, it made the scene really sad :( Poor James. It makes me more annoyed that they cut it when May left, though

Quotes:

Gardinea: A tag battle! I'll go with this blue haired guy
XD
James: You impudent little twits

LOL but also

James: I could beat the shhhh-ort
- I was sure, SURE he was going to say something else XD

James: Still no cigar
This certainly isn't like the 4Kids days...XD (who edited out a cigar)

Teeheehee I so love how Dawn kept mentioning that helping Team Rocket would only make it worse for them. Teeheehee That was funny since Ash was so willing to help James. Teeheehee

I noticed that, too XD

Oh yeah, I think there could be a possibility she'll come again in a future episode (wait, WHY was she in this one!? I can't remember!)

Also for some reason I just can't see Carnivoir with any kind of personality that Cacnea ever have.

From what I could tell, it has just a generic personality, but more to the playful loving of Cacnea. Conversely, Victreebel was playfully in a more vicious way (particularly toward the end). Then again, look at Seviper's lack of personality since its capture. It's hit or miss. At least, Cacnea and Carnivine appear to be consistent.

SU. I guess it is true but I don't know. I mean I guess it does have some but it isn't really seen often or as much as Seviper. Maybe it just me but even Seviper has has a bit more personality but then I guess Team Rocket's pokemon kinda is more hit and miss when it comes to personality.

Sad, but they made James seem like he had something wrong with him up in here. *points at head*
He cried; he acted like he was leaving his parents because he didn't want to clean his room, and Cacnea cried too for a strange reason. XD
But overall a nice episode, not the most boring of fillers. 7/10

James was crying because he loves his Cacnea and wanted him to stay . Two years ago I had to give up a dog and it made me very sad. Even though she was an animal, I loved her very much and like to think she loved me as well.

Imagine how good he could be if he actually trained.:t331:
