One thing you would change

This is probably a thread but i don't know since I created account few days ago so yeah :)
What is one thing you would change? I would've had Ash win 3 conferences: Kanto, Sinnoh, and Kalos(maybe he will though because of XY 131 title). I would've made him lose to the Elite Four in each win though. Can't make him too strong. My ranks for him would be:

Kanto: Winner (a lot of luck plays into this and it's cool because it's his home region. A little bias becasue Kanto is my favorite region)

Johto: Top Four (I would've made him slightly arrogant for winning Kanto but still likable and he learns from it. I guess I would have still lose to Harrison[Hoenn])

Hoenn: Runner-Up (he still learns but ultimately loses to Tyson)

Sinnoh: Winner (after that battle with Paul, which was maybe my favorite battle of the series, he definitely has to win. Would've definitely written out Tobias[who the f*ck was he by the way. Always hated the writers for that. Made me lose faith in the show]. I probably would have had Paul and Ash in the finals too. That was like 3-4 episodes I can't remember. Too good. His strongest team is definitely here and Kalos. I probably would have him meet Cynthia after the league was over and have a small battle just because Cynthia was actually my favorite champion. He would still lose though.)

Unova: top 4 (I'm gonna be completely honest. I skipped Unova. After Sinnoh I stopped watching Pokemon. Got sad after he lost and basically accepted he will never win a league. Plus I was actually watching more anime in my life anyway. I watched a lot of clips because I needed to see some before getting back into the show for XY. I basically learned it was a somewhat reboot so..yeah. I saw he lost against a guy named Cameron so maybe him again unless someone is better than him. I was gonna say runner up but I feel like his record would be too good but didn't want him going from champion to top 8)

Kalos: Winner...maybe Champion (it depends really. I've seen so many theories of "Ash is done!! New protagonist!!! It's the son/daughter of Ash and Serena!!!" so if it was the last time he would definitely go all the way and ride into the sunset with [and it pains me to say this although I've accepted it] Serena. If he still goes to Alola then he wins the conference and that's it. His team is too good now and well balanced. He's come really far. Like seriously he has a Pokemon with an exclusive evolution. What more does the writers have to do)

I feel like 3 is enough so he's bad but not too strong.

So yeah long post. I feel like no one is reading all of this (I wouldn't honestly. too lazy xD)
    Something I wished always happened.

My name is pretty bad. Not good with usernames. When I made my account I was thinking "something Pokemon related...kanto is my favorite region. What do I like? Hmm always liked Misty. I guess pokeshipper. 2 is my favorite number" xD

Not the most creative but i digress.

    1. )Welcome to Pokemon Anime. Please stay awhile.

2.) What would I change? Oh god, only one choice? Uh... I'd definitely change the entire thing with Ash and make the protagonists different each new saga after Johto. Kinda like how Pokemon Adventures handled the manga. Maybe make Ash a guest appearance once in awhile? I know Ash is the posterboy of the anime, but seeing new characters as the main every generation wouldn't be too bad, if you ask me.

Also, a side note, the Alola saga had better make some changes to the Pokemon Anime.

    Let's see...

For Kanto, probably cut down a bit on his esentially being given badges. Maybe have Ash lose in such a way that wasn't due to Team Rocket forcing him to be late for the Pokemon match against Ritchie. Maybe have him rest up, and THEN lose to Ritchie due to arrogance.

For Johto, cut down on Brock's womanizing gag, actually GIVE focus to Brock's goal (especially when that game saga was the debut for Pokemon breeding), keep Misty on the show (or if she must leave, at LEAST not have Misty be forced back to the gym as a reason).

For Hoenn, I'd have Misty actually play a role in the saga, not to mention, with the Gym Leaders, I'd make them a LOT more badass, also make sure that they actually ARE able to handle rookies, among others (no cheap wins via Thunder Armor or having Ash's rookies win, or having Pikachu win solely due to being accidentally supercharged by a robot Raikou in the case of Watson), and... for goodness sakes, actually HAVE Ash increase in rank during the Hoenn league. Also, on a related note, don't have Ash lose to Gary again. Maybe have Ash beat Electivire, yet still be interested enough in the Pokemon to head over to the Sinnoh region. And, again, cut the Womanizing gag from Brock. Might as well add that they should either have Misty be the focus of the Manaphy movie, or otherwise, actually have May attempt to do something when Phantom abducts Manaphy thus having Ash save the day yet again in what was supposed to be HER movie. And speaking of May, when she DOES leave, don't portray her eagerness to go to Johto in such a manner that came across tastelessly that she was eager to leave her friends behind (portray it like Anakin Skywalker when he became freed yet had to leave his mom behind). I forgot one thing relating to May as well... If they need to have her debut and appear on the main cast, and she's a rookie, for goodness sakes, DON'T make her hateful of Pokemon at the start, because it raises questions as to why she even bothered doing a Pokemon journey in the first place.

Sinnoh: When Dawn appears, either have Dawn do a different goal from May, or otherwise when she does make her first appearance, have either Ash or Brock comment that they knew someone who had been a Coordinator. Also, with Paul, I probably won't change the bit about Elekid since it's not particularly clear if it was a rookie, but I WILL change the bit about the second battle by having Pikachu lose to Torterra, NOT a rookie like Ursaring. The loss may be the same, but at least it isn't against a total rookie. Oh, and as far as the Sinnoh gym leaders, have Pikachu be kept out of most of the matches unless it's to actually win against the Gym Leaders. Also, cut down on the fillers to enough of an extent to actually leave room for Ash to actually win Sinnoh and thus challenge the Elite 4. And Give Misty more focus if she's part of this saga as well.

For Unova, Ash won't actually lose to Trip, and if anything, Trip will act like Vegeta regarding Goku (where he wanted a rematch to prove his superiority). Also, Ash would not be depicted as a total idiot (aside from the bit with Trip, I won't have him mistake Iris for an Axew, and I wouldn't have Ash rely solely on Palpitoad in that gym match), and I won't have the Gym Leaders being pathetic. Oh, and also utilize the Pokemon World Conference for a reunion for all characters save for Dawn (since most of the past characters were either Gym Leaders themselves or otherwise related to them, Dawn being the one exception up to this point), and also actually HAVE Misty get closure if she returns here and wasn't part of the main cast from the get go. Oh, and portray Cameron more compently, and certainly not have Ash regress in rank. Probably also have Ash actually be reunited with Butterfree rather than basically retreading his capture of Caterpie during the Decolore Islands.

For Kalos, aside from anything relating to Misty being on the cast instead of... well, not in the main cast, I have few things I'd want to improve: Namely, they should have had Serena get an ACTUAL goal fairly early on instead of waiting until the halfway point for her to even get a goal, and even THEN it not being a very good goal and having her come across as a Mary Sue, and they should have given a reason for her to join that didn't essentially involve her only joining Ash simply because he did a nice thing for her and thought of him as a best friend despite their barely interacting with each other (in fact, to be honest, Ash never even MENTIONED Serena at all, which, if she had been his first real childhood friend, earlier than not just Misty, but even Molly Hale or Gary Oak, he should have given at least SOME mention about her before then). Oh, and also avoid cramming Amourshipping down our throats since, let's face it, unlike Pokeshipping when it at least had some mutual evidence to each other (and I'm not a believer in that ship anyways) Amourshipping was one-sided at best.

Honestly I'm pretty lax as far as the anime goes (and if we erase Black and White). One thing that irks me is how Ash just forgets. There's never any talk of past experiences. I'm currently watching the XY saga and when Sawyer mentions Sceptile being able to mega evolve it would be nice if he just referenced his own Sceptile. It would be nice for him to just reference his past every now and then.

And again with XY I wanted Serena and Clemont to have more of a role. I love Ash's development and his Pokemon's development but the fact that Serena didn't choose her goal until late into the series, as well as catching her first Pokemon. I just wish they either a) caught more Pokemon b) development their current ones more.

And well, not to be one of "those" people but I really want Ash to reunite with his older Pokemon at some point. Like the released ones. I mean Pidgeot was released right near his home, there's reason why he can't just visit it and call upon it for battles rather than keep it with him or forget all together.
