i dont really care much about conforming to social convictions or blending in basically every aspect of my life. i like being myself, why should i have to bring myself down to other peoples levels? granted i know i have a lot of privilege in saying that since ive never experienced any violence directed towards me. im quite lucky in that aspect; even long before ever coming out as trans i had always been so extremely un-masculine, and well, feminine. other people saw me as "the gay kid" in school because to them i looked like a walking talking gay stereotype. my best friend told me my friends were waiting for me to come out so they could say ya we been knew this whole time.
again, i know how lucky i am to be able to comfortably be myself. for most lgbtq+ people in the world its not as easy as telling them to "just be yourself!"
