Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to entertainment? (That is, if you even believe in the concept of a guilty pleasure...)

First and foremost, when I hear the phrase guilty pleasures, this song always comes to mind:

Maybe it's the fact that it's about a woman... 'pleasuring' herself, or that it's a type of song that I usually wouldn't listen to, lol.

Secondly, I don't believe in guilty pleasures. If you want to listen to listen/watch/etc something, do it and don't feel weird about it. Enjoy yourself~

I guess this would be considered a guilty pleasure since I haven't told anyone yet and I'm not very willing to tell people I know in real life but I like listening Abba.

What got me started on this train of thought was a recent re-listening to P!nk. I really like P!nk's music, but feel incredibly guilty doing so. I mean, just look at the name: P!nk. It's like she's a 13-year-old school girl trying to sound impressive and anti-establishment at the same time. And then there's the faux-rock persona she exhibits in music videos and in press appearances. And then there's the ever-present whiff of vapidity permeating through everything...

And yet I really like her music, in spite of the above. 'Stupid Girls', for example, is one of the best, and clearest, feminist statements around. Direct without being preachy, it cuts to the core of the modern woman in today's culture, and the video's a riot. It has the gloss befitting a Taylor Swift video, and there are times when I wish she's do something raw, but I do genuinely like Pink... even though I probably shouldn't.

The fact that I can't get enough of watching those crappy sitcoms and cartoons made by Disney and Nickelodeon, like iCarly and Wizards of Waverly Place.
Tbh they're not really crappy, but they are very childish ...

Ahahahaha, I completely agree with you on this one. I always feel terrible when I listen to P!nk's album M!zzundaztood, the album that rebelled against conventional literacy and spelling norms so effectively.
