4th Gen Ooppss!! Did I do that?!?

Finally got to Dialga on Diamond and hit it with my weakest attack from my starter pokemon...but it ko'd in one hit. Is there any other way I will find Dialga in the game after beating it the first time or am I out of luck??

you shoulda saved before the encounter, but I don't think there's another way of getting him (unless you have platinum)

doesnt it come back later.... mine did and i caught it originally and theres a nother one siting at the top of mt coronet
same as every other legendary in the game

Uh.....
There's only one legendary per game. Catch it or KO it and DONE. Only exceptions I know of are the roamers and the event darkrai, who will come back if you just KO him. (not if you catch him).

But Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina there should only be one of...

Actually, for all the legendaries in Platinum, if you accidentally KO anything and you want to try again, each one has ways of resetting their existence. Usually finishing the E4 again. I'm not sure if this is the same in Diamond/Pearl...

Shouldn't work if you caught 'em, though... O__o

If you KO Dialga the first time you battle him, beat the Elite Four. Than, go back to the Spear Pillar, and guess who's there again? I know this works because it happened to me.

Lol I KO'd my giratina on purpose and then learned that I could capture it again. I had an easy time catching it the first go around. But this time through I didn't want to waste tons of ultra balls so I reset and killed it out of anger. I don't ever use legendaries anyways... so who cares lol

Sad day. The only way to get it is to delete your game and start anew...don't forget the whole "save-before-you-do-something-important-just-in-casies" strategy.

Umm I ain't sure since in Pearl I caught Palkia by first try and I never came back to Spear Pillar....
SO yeahh mmaybe try to beat the E4 again and come back !

i killed palkia the first time in pearl. then he came back again and i got him. period.
