Oops there goes my phone...

Not to be weird or whatever but... have you ever drop anything into the toilet by accident? I've heard stories online of how people do this with their phones... so I want to hear your "horror" stories. :P

I dropped my sunglass lens in recently. My sunglasses it the edge of the toilet seat, and the one of the lens popped out and fell into the toilet. :| Luckily, I'm on of the few who have never dropped in my phone.

Yes, I've dropped an actual phone into a toilet before. Into clean water, thankfully! I had the phone on a clip on my belt (huzzah flip phone), and when I bent over the toilet, the phone suddenly decided it wanted to be free, and of course it had to fall into the worst place possible at that moment. Nothing happened to it aside from not wanting to turn back on immediately, and drying it out fixed it right up.

Hasn't happened since as I now make sure such things don't have a chance to fall in. :D Also, my phones go into my pockets now. If something ends up falling out of my pockets in that manner, I would be more amazed than anything.

I am reminded of one of my previous pairs of glasses, though. It had a loose lens in it (had been knocked out by being dropped, and placed back in by me, but was still prone to just popping out at times), and I was always nervous whenever I was around a toilet, as I was expecting it to just pop out at the worst time and fall right into the bowl. Would have been just my luck!

I've never dropped my phone in the toilet, but I did drop it in a bowl of cereal once

I make sure to keep my 3ds (my phone's never charged :P) A safe distance away from the toilet, so there's little chance of it falling in. I did drop a towel in once though, and I think a roll of toilet paper. And maybe I fell into the toilet while standing on the sink, but I don't remember, that was long ago.

The last time I dropped something into the toilet by accident was at least 10 years ago, when I dropped a DS Lite stylus by accident.

the only time ive ever dropped smth in the toilet was my phone. it had a big otterbox case though so it was ok

never dropped anything in the toilet, except a sock but i did drop my phone in the canal once..and never saw it again. i was a huge idiot

I've only ever dropped a roll toilet paper in the toilet by accident.

I once dropped my own shirt into one by accident. To this day, I can figure out what led to that happening.
