5th Gen Opelucid city

Basically this thread is about the Temporial town.
What did you think about the idea of one town with different layout in each version? Did you like, did you hate it? Why?
What did you think about the past and future them?
Which version of the town did you like the most?
Which version of the city's theme did you like the most?
(by this I mean the Black= future is important, white= past is important motif)
Who of the two gym leaders of opelucid did you like the best?
Do you hope to see this type of thing done in future games?

I liked it since it helped make me want to get the different versions (other than Black/White forest and exclusives) so I could experience the different city. Uhhh, I think past/future could've been better enforced, like for one city to be in Black and White and the other in normal colours to show past and future! Generally I liked the design of Black's, but I loved the music of White's, so it's a toss up ;__;

For future games? Doubt it, since Black and White concentrated so much on opposites as seen in Shining's thread, but little changes like that between versions would be nice for the future, even if it's not exactly the same. And idk, I have no gym leader preference for Opelucid.

After experiencing both kinds of the same city, well.. I think it looked really nice in either version, and I liked the extra special touch, even if it's mostly aesthetic. I think this won't really stick around for future games, though, as it plays into the thematic motif of the games themselves.

I think I like both cities equally in general, but the White version of Opelucid City Theme is more memorable in my mind.

I don't have black, so I've only experienced the past of opelucid, but i have seen the future one as well. I prefer the past because i think it is much better looking imo. The future one is too futuristic for me, as i'm more of a rural/run-down kind of person. But i think both are designed very nicely.

I don't think they'll do this again though, as they kinda only did opelucid and black city/white forest because it went with the theme of the game.

I like the differences between the Black and White versions of Opelucid, but I think I like the Black version better because, well, I'm into technology. Music-wise, I like the White version better because it's easier on the ears.

This was a great addition, I wish they did it with all of the cities or at least a few rather than one (excluding White Forest and Black City)

Well since I have Pokemon White, I chose Iris as being the better one

I like White's variation of the city; natural = good :D

As for the Gym Leaders, I like Drayden better. For some reason, I like old people in Pokemon games.

I liked it, I think it's original and a cool concept. I must say that it is a little random though, but still I think it's nice.

What did you think about the past and future them?
I liked that too but I don't really get that concept, like why is one future and why is one past? They could have done something else with that but meh.

Which version of the town did you like the most?
Definitely the White version. I like ancient stuff regarding architecture way better than futuristic stuff, and I also like that it had trees and bushes, and was a little marble white. So much better than the flashy black version of the city imo.

Which version of the city's theme did you like the most?
What? same as above obviously, one wouldn't go with the other at all.

Who of the two gym leaders of opelucid did you like the best?
Iris, definitely. I think Brycen or something like that is cool but I like the concept of meeting Iris in the beginning and not having a clue that that little girl is the eighth gym leader, while that could be a thought with Brycen.

Do you hope to see this type of thing done in future games?
Not really, it's a B/W thing and it would take away the originality and purpose if they'd do it in other games as well tbh.

I liked the two city thing, it was quite original. I do find it interesting that they did time diffrences though, the town made me think of Dialga (time and dragon theme...)
I liked the black music the best and I'm evenly split on the design.
I hope they do this for the future games, maybe not the time theme but maybe sea and land diffrences? (one of the towns in one version could be Venice like, while the other is mountainous...come to think about it this would fit nicely in the RSE remakes...)
My favorite gym leader is Iris chan because she's much more interesting than the serious mayor...

What did you think about the idea of one town with different layout in each version? Did you like, did you hate it? Why?
-I thought it was helpful in that it makes those with Black or White really notice the difference and how Black is more into the future while White goes back to the past mostly. I liked it basically, since people get to choose one version depending on their preference, if they even prefer it that way.

What did you think about the past and future them?
-The Black version had the future layout, and I loved its color scheme and theme, yet it got bored quickly. Even though it had my favorite colors on there, it was too futuristic and was pretty much plain to me. White version was the one I loved overall, since its music that added to the natural Opelucid reminded me of my childhood town. Pretty cute.

Which version did you like most?
-Well.....White version that has the past Opelucid is my favorite. More nature-like and calming. My eyes prefer that color scheme than the black color explosion in Black Version.

Which version of the City's theme did you like most?
-White=Past. Nostalgia and reminders make me prefer the past than the future.

Who of the two Gym Leaders of Opelucid did you like best?
-I would have rather fought Drayden, since he was more of the Gym Leader fit, yet I fought against Iris. Both have no difference except her pokemon are mostly, or are, females while Draydens are males...if I remember correctly.

Do you hope to see this type of thing in future games?
-Of course. That way, those who prefer to buy both versions will have differences and their own quirks on them. It's what makes me want to see my sister's black version so much. Completely different from my White Opelucid.
