So I recently jumped back into Pokémon and I am on Pokémon White 2.

What are your opinions on my team? Trying to see if there are some I should probably drop or if I really don't need to bother with.

    Current Line-up

    1. Level 21(Oshawott)

    2. Level 20(Darumaka)

    3. Level 20(Sewaddle)

    4. Level 22 (Lucario)

    5. Level 23(Scraggy)

    6. Level 19(Sigilyph)

I have 3 badges....and in all honesty, I don't plan to get rid of Oshawott or Lucario as Lucario is my favorite pokemon and Oshawott is the only water pokemon I have found that is relatively interesting.

Sewaddle I like a lot and he has been a pretty decent fighter.

    Outside those 3,

I hate Darumaka(both the design and because it is fire). While he was useful against the Bug gym, I don't see a need for a fire type especially since I am not a fan of fire pokemon, I have yet to come across a fire.

    So I may box him.

Scraggy, I got because I like it. But he is pretty useless/weak and he seems redundant since I have a fighting pokemon in Lucario. I also don't care for Dark so aside from it being cute, it is pointless.

I just got a Sigilyph....I love Psychic pokemon and I know i'll need a Flying pokemon later. But it seems that Psychic pokemon aren't exactly the strongest except against a few select types.

    Is it worth training?

    My alternatives are:

    1. Roggenrola--- DO I need a roggenrola? I never have liked Rock pokemon or ground tbh.

    2. Sandile- I hate Rock/Ground but I love this little guy lol

    3. Elekid---I like this guy and his design but he seems weak.....But I do like some electric pokemon

(No Pikachu in White 2 as I really wanted a Raichu lol)

    4. Mareep- I caught early on but I hate it until it gets to Ampharos lol.

    5. Audino- Is there any point to have in my team?

    6. Braviary- I did catch it...But a pure flying seems pointless to me. Hence why I swapped him for Sigilyph

Sigilyph is in for the long haul if you want to use it and requires TMs to maximise utility, for most part you have shadow ball, energy ball, ice beam, charge beam, thunder wave, relfect and light screen to choose from for the main game in addition to air cutter and psychic from leveling up.

Personally I'll Swarp Scraggy for sandile only because nimbasa's gym has a very annoying move called volt switch and sandile helps prevent that move. Other then that you are free to swarp out Darumaka whenever you want(although having a fire type for steel types is always nice).

Also if you want a fly slave skarmory at reversal mountian later would be a better option.

So far I have switched it up a bit
    1. Dewott
    2. Swadloon
    3. Timburr
    4. Riolu
    5. Trapinch

I managed to catch a timburr(one of my faves) after discovering he is in this game as well as Trapinch who definitely helped me a lot at Elsa's gym because all my pokemon are/were severely underleveled.

You know, Sigilyph isn't a bad choice but a slow leveling curve is what sorta holds it back. I did use one in Black 2 and it did a well-done job, and it's a bit better with Magic Guard but even aside from that it's still a solid option for a Psychic-type.

Also, remember a lot of TMs mentioned above are very late in the game so be patient.

I also think Vanillite and Yamask are good options. Vanillite line is an above average ice-type in my opinion and would be very helpful. Yamask, though brutal to train, is well wroth the wait when it evolves into Cofagrigus, which is very helpful throughout the game. Another good ghost type line would be the Litwick's as well.

I would have agreed on vailite for BW1 but BW2 you get vanilish so late into the game(giant chasm) that it is only good for ghetsis(if you grind it up) and iris. Also personally I find beritic/cubchoo better.
