My eyes were... green. My hair was... shoulder length and brown. My face, wasnt my face, though it looked like that of a little girl, and y body was short, and very then. I was a little girl! All I wanted to do now was cry.

My mom then walked in, carrying two yellow hair clips, and sat me down on the chair, telling me to sit still. When she was finished, I was left with a small pigtail on each side of my head. My mom then brought in and dressed me in, a thin white shirt, that had 5 pink bows on it. One that went over the end of each arm by the shoulder, one that was tied in the center of the chest part, and one on each side of my shirt, by the waist. She also put my in a very tight pair of what I believed to be black shorts, but wasn't sure. I blushed furiously as I looked at what I was wearing in the mirror, until my mom told me it was time for school. luckily Robert and I had a discussion spot right by the public school fence.

I looked through the dresser, and even though my hair appeared to have already been styled, and it looked fine, I found a white and blue T-shirt with several shades of blue, and a simple pair of jeans, and moved out without a word. I soon reached the spot of the fence where we usually stood, almost no one else came here, so he'd be certain to at least ask what I was doing...

I was on the opposite side of the fence, the school side, after surviving an hour of horror. I sat under the fence in the spot, clinging to a stuffed rabbit, and eating a granola bar. I noticed a girl in the corner of my eyebut figured it wasn't Robert.

I noticed the little girl only now. "So kid, what is it you want?" I asked. This meant more than what it sounded like. That was the phrase I had always used when someone besides me or david came into this area, whether they were kids, our age, older, or even adults. I said it in the same tone, even if my oice had change, and I hoped that if David was close, he could hear me, and figure out that it was me.

"I'm waiting for a friend Miss!" I exclaimed in shock as I jumped up when I heard her voice. Normally, something that obvious wouldve clicked in my head right away, but for some reason, it took my a few minutes to process it. "Oh my gosh! Is that you Robert!? Yayayayayayay! I thought I'd never find someone! Or should I call you Roberta?" I was basically jumping up and down as I said that, and stuck out my tongue after the last comment.

I had walked slowly onto the school grounds, children and teachers of various ages gathered here and there in different groups, instinctively I looked around, but I recognized no one, the truth was I didn?t know who I was looking for. Something caught my attention, two girls, the younger one jumping around, existed about something. I frowned, her screams hurt my ears. I walked over to the two, lingering near them, and bored enough to listen in on whatever they were saying.

I paused fora moment. Any other time, I would have reached through the fence and pulled her up by her shirt and scare the living daylights out of her. Today though, I just whispered "Calm down, we don't want to attract any attention to ourselves." I said, then it struck me how absurd this was. "David?" I asked, realising what I was seeing. "What's happened to us?" I said, leaning against the fence as I felt myself go weak again, now truly terrified.

"I don't know, but all I do know is this is the most energy I've had in yeeeears!" I exclaimed as I jumped up again, and landed on my really tight, short cut shorts, still clingy to the stuffed bunny. I wondered how long till he asked me what the hell I was wearing.

I would have asked her just that, but then I realiszed that I was in no condition to talk, with whit hair that had a blue ribbon in it. "Fine, calm down." I said, and reached through the fence, and grabbed her, tossing her up over the fence, and catching her before she fell to the earth, and set her on the ground. "There, you're out, now we need to find somewhere safe to figure out what's going on." I said, noticing that she was carrying a stuffed rabbit.

I almost had a heart attack when I was thrown over the fence, and released a high pitched shreik of terror. I cuddled the bunny when I was safe on the ground again, and noticed Roberta looking at the Bunny. "Something wrong... Roberta?"

"Yes," I began, still saring. "I'm wondering what's wrong with you." I explained. "But let's talk later, now isn't the place, I know somewhere safe." I said, thinking of an abandoned apartment I had found, which had never been bothered to be locked when the building was closed down. I had practically made it into a home away from home, and told no one. I could just hope it was still there...

"O- okay...." I replied, wondering why she was still staring at my like I was insane. "Do you have a washroom there? I weally need to go, like ASAP! Roberta!" Using the washroom as a girl... This day is gonna suck... and I mean majorly.

Soon, we reached the apartment. It was an eleven story building, and it didn't take us too long to use the stairs to reached the top. I opened the door, which said "11E" on it, and inside was a sparsely furnished apartment. They had left power and cable here, though no one used it, so I even had a mini fridge here, and the water worked too, so I pointed "Dena" to the washroom. "It's that way." I said, pointing as I collapsed on a leather sofa, relieved that everything was still here.

I scrambled into the washroom, and came out again like 10 minutes later, and plopped myself down on a chair by Robert. "So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked, still clinging to the bunny.

"What do you think?" I asked, indicating us. "Look at us, look at what happened." I still got shocked whenever I looked down... "Do you remember anything about last night?" I asked, wondering if the car crash had been a dream, or what. I had no idea what had occured, and there had to be a way to figure out, somehow...

"Yeah, we crashed, and I almost died. I can't remember anyting else though." I replied as I notice something on the other side of the room. It was a white rat. The rat darted towards me and I leapt onto the chair, holding on for dear life, tears forming. I had always thought rats were cool.

I looked over and noticed that she was linging to the chair. "I uess your personality changed as well as your body, eh Dena?" I asked camly. I would have teased her much more harshly under normal circumstances, but it seemed too mean to me now. That's when I noticed her clothes. "Excuse my language, but what the hell are you wearing?" I asked, and instantly regretted using such harsh language, though normally, it would have been much worse.

"My mommy picked it out, I didn't have a choice." I replied, as I stopped clinging to the chair and started clinging to the bunny again. "You've changed too... You normally would've beaten me up by now." Out of my pocket, flew an invite to the school dance which wa tonight, which I refused to go to.

"At least I'm not as bad off as you are." I said, picking up the paper and raeding it. "School dance huh? Who's the lucky guy?" I asked jokingly, trying to change the subject from me. I didn't want to accept that my mind might have changed as well. "Seriously though, you look cute Dena." I said, smiling. I was half joking...

"Actually, someone dud ask me to go. I didn't have there heart to say No, so..." I muttered as I leaned back on the chair, which then flipped, almost taking my shirt all the way with it. "I'm okay."
