Hi all! This here is a sandstorm team I have concocted up. I need a pokemon that can help me with grass defense and I could put into my team without creating a bigger weakness factor. I haven't been able to find many substitutions, so i figured yall could help. Here is my team below.

    Tyranitar @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake
    - Crunch
    - Rock Slide

    Hippowdon @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
    Impish Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Stealth Rock
    - Slack Off
    - Rock Slide

    Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
    Ability: Technician
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - U-turn
    - Knock Off
    - Roost
    - Bullet Punch

    Latios @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Psyshock
    - Thunderbolt
    - Roost

    Lanturn @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
    Calm Nature
    - Volt Switch
    - Scald
    - Heal Bell
    - Thunder Wave

    Hitmonlee @ Leftovers
    Ability: Limber
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Rapid Spin
    - Poison Jab
    - Blaze Kick
    - Close Combat

Scizor-Mega and Hitmanlee right now are my grass repellants, but whenever Breloom and Speed invested Serperior show up, they ruin my battle.

Another thing. I know Hitmanlee is a pretty bad Spinner, but the only other spinners that did not have simillar weakness to my team were Hitmontop, Hitmanlee, and Spinda. Unless anyone has a better idea of who to use, im going to stick with him.

Your team does not suffer much from rocks, the most common entree hazard out there. So a spinner is not the biggest requirement.
But if you insist, you can replace Hitmonlee with a Defogger. It cleans both battlefields I know, but it clears annoying screens and most pokémon that can use Defog have resistance to grass cause they are birds.
Also check your Latios IV's if it has HP Ice, Grass or Fire use it over T-Bolt. And give it a life-orb to hit harder, it has roost to heal itself.

Edit: Give T-tar or Hippowdon a Smooth Rock, the sandstorm will last longer!

While it seems tempting to have both Tyranitar and Hippowdon on the same team, this isn't a good idea because both share common weaknesses to Water and Grass. Take one of them out.

IMO, Stealth Rock Tyranitar should be defensive so it has more bulk to take resisted hits or at least get Stealth Rock up more easily:
    -Stealth Rock
    -Rock Slide/Thunder Wave/Ice Beam
    -Crunch/Pursuit
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Sassy
    EVs: 248 HP/132 Def/124 SDef
    Item: Leftovers/Smooth Rock
    Ability: Sand Stream

Scizor should focus more on its bulk rather than its Speed, as it has priority Bullet Punch:
    -Swords Dance
    -Bullet Punch
    -Superpower
    -Bug Bite/Roost
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 116 HP/252 Atk/140 Spe
    Item: Scizorite
    Ability: Technician

    or
    -Swords Dance
    -Bullet Punch
    -Knock Off/Superpower/U-turn
    -Roost
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 248 HP/84 Atk/176 SDef
    Item: Scizorite
    Ability: Technician

    or
    -U-turn
    -Bullet Punch
    -Knock Off/Superpower/Pursuit
    -Roost
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 248 HP/96 Atk/164 SDef
    Item: Scizorite
    Ability: Technician

    or
    -U-turn/Superpower
    -Bullet Punch
    -Defog
    -Roost
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
    Item: Scizorite
    Ability: Technician

Thunderbolt doesn't let Latios do anything notable. Replace that slot with Hidden Power (Fire) to hit Ferrothorn and opposing Scizor, Surf or Earthquake (both to hit Heatran).

Lanturn is outclassed by Wash Rotom as a Volt Switch pivot because the latter at least has recovery in Pain Split. However, Sylveon and Clefable are the better alternatives as clerics because they provide a crucial Fighting resistance:
    -Wish
    -Protect
    -Hyper Voice
    -Heal Bell/Toxic
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Pixilate

    Clefable:
    -Moonblast
    -Heal Bell/Thunder Wave
    -Wish/Moonlight
    -Protect/Stealth Rock
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Unaware

Hitmonlee is terribad in standard play because of its frailty. It should focus on abusing Unburden, but given that it usually uses Endure in conjunction with a Liechi Berry to do so, this is very difficult to do in a sand team, as the weather will chip away at its last HP after Enduring. Excadrill is the better offensive Rapid Spinner to use in sand teams because even though it stacks weaknesses with Tyranitar/Hippowdon, its Speed is doubled in Sand Rush; it also boasts more power than Hitmonlee:
    -Earthquake
    -Iron Head
    -Rock Slide
    -Rapid Spin
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Air Balloon
    Ability: Sand Rush

One of my favorite counters to Serperior right now is Goodra because of Sap Sipper, you should really consider adding it to your team. It wouldn't be recommended to have 2 dragon types, so consider switching it for Latios.
    Try this set for Goodra:
    Goodra @ Assault Vest
    Ability: Sap Sipper
    EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpA / 16 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Fire Blast
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Rock Slide

Like some others said, try out Rotom-W if you find that Lanturn doesn't do much for this team.
By the way, what other Pokemon are your biggest weaknesses?
Some other options to consider are Krookodile and Excadrill. Excadrill could be a great spinner in this team. Personally I've always thought Tyranitar had too many weaknesses especially in 6th gen, but back in 5th gen it was prob the best Pokemon out there. I just don't look into using it much anymore, because there are better Pokemon out there.
But yeah, try out Krookodile with Earth Plate or Dread Plate. It's still a strong Pokemon despite it being UU and could be a good substitute for Tyranitar.
I hope this helps a bit!

Muddy Water or Earthquake is preferred over Rock Slide on Assault Vest Goodra because right now it's walled by Heatran. Talonflame and Charizard are already hit hard by Draco Meteor

ya muddy water is probably the best option if you find more problems with heatran etc.
it does give the element of surprise instead of going with standard smogon sets, lol. and it's still viable.
