So, I haven't battled singles at all since XY release, but I figured I wanted to give it a go. One of my favorite Pokemon in general is Togekiss so I figured I would build the team completely around her. That's the one Pokemon on this team I don't want to change, I'm down for anything else though.

    Togekiss @ Leftovers
    Ability: Serene Grace
    Shiny: Yes
    EVs: 252 HP / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
    Bold Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Thunder Wave
    - Air Slash
    - Dazzling Gleam
    - Roost

I would normally run Scarf Togekiss, but I figured that the classic ParaFlinch set would be a little bit better. EVs are to max bulk out in HP, outspeed uninvested base 70 with neutral nature, and just the rest in special attack. Serves as a good way to beat most Dragons, it seems Garchomp running Rock Slide could be a bit of a problem though.

    Excadrill @ Air Balloon
    Ability: Mold Breaker
    Shiny: Yes
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    IVs: 30 SpA
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    - Iron Head
    - Rock Slide

I figured this Togekiss is weak to SR and Rock/Ice/Electric moves, Excadrill would make a pretty nice member of the team. Went with a slightly more offensive moveset along with Rapid Spin so Togekiss wouldn't have to worry about SR. Just standard EV spread on it, not sure what else you'd really want to run on Excadrill anyway.

    Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Thick Fat
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Icicle Crash
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide

SR setter, pretty quick and powerful, good coverage moves. Again, EVs are pretty self-explanatory.

    Venusaur @ Venusaurite
    Ability: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Mild Nature
    - Giga Drain
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Sleep Powder
    - Earthquake

Having Excadrill and Mamoswine on the team gives me 2 Water weaknesses, so I figured something to really do well against Water types/moves would be needed. My first thought was Mega Venu. Pretty bulky and just dominates most Water types. EVs and moveset don't really seem good to me, since I really have it here as a defensive presence against Water mons. I was thinking about possibly dropping EQ for Synthesis, if that's even a thing? XD

    Azumarill @ Assault Vest
    Ability: Huge Power
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Waterfall
    - Aqua Jet
    - Play Rough
    - Superpower

Another choice to help mitigate my Water weakness. I think Rotom-W would be a better choice here, but I wanted a physical Water attacker and Azumarill was the only one I could think of. I'm a bit iffy about AV on Azumarill, but I couldn't think of much else. Drum+Jet+Sitrus doesn't seem fun to me so I'd like to not run that, if Azumarill would be better than Rotom-W

    Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Draco Meteor
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Psyshock
    - Surf

At this point I had two special attackers and three physical, so I figured I would fully balance that out and add a special Scarfer. Latios really seemed like a good fit for the job. Powerful, decent typing, good movepool. Added HP Fire to deal with Scizor and the like.

I can't really pick much out that I feel I'm really struggling with, since i'm so low on the PS ladder atm(about 1300) and I'm still seeing pretty dumb teams. Sableye has been a pain the few times I've managed to stumble upon a team with it, burn is really annoying, and I feel like I have too many weaknesses but not enough ways to cover them.

you actually have some decent individual pokes, for azum i'd run knock off over superpower cause your team isn't that ferro weak at all and knock off's utility is pretty amazing (it got a buff and dark is an amazing atk type)

so latios is a good defogger which is definitely a superior set to scarf (defog/draco/psyshock/hp fight or roost depending on how much you care about bisharp and tar pursuiting you, and you probably should), but if you run scarf i'd throw in trick over surf which isn't doing anything to tran and tar anyway. hp fire is really only good for ferro and mega scizor so i'd run hp fight (bisharp is really the worst) or thunderbolt cause mega gyarados is a champ though you won't be coming close to koing it. i'd run the defogger though, scarfers tend to be too weak in this meta and being locked into -2 draco or a weak coverage move isnt ideal

as for venusaur you definitely need synthesis since venu has a ton of utility on bulky teams for being able to check mmawile (sorta lol) azum non hp fly thund keld etc. while still providing something of an offensive presence. even if you run quake id run modest because mild is really counterintuitive on a mon like mvenu whereas sleep powder is more of a luxury. quake makes a decent tran lure hile hp fire is way better vs mawile scizors and ferro (and frankly stuff like balloon exca though giga hits that plenty hard really) but yeah, idr the ev spread for it but its something like 232 hp/252 satk/24 speed i think? i assume the speed is for mawiles and azums but i havent gone into the ev lab on venu so idr, but yeah invest in bulk for sure. you can also go bold@max hp/near max def (w/ same speed investment) because defensive mvenu w/ three atks is perfectly viable

the team as a whole is limited by toge a little bit but its not unusable so i'd play around on showdown and see what combos work with it, i sorta rushed this rate so i haven't given you much of a synergistic look but i guess you can find that our yourself but yeah good luck and serene grace is da wuurst :(

Not a bad start man. I think the first thing looking at this team is that youare going to have trouble breaking stall. I think the best way to remedy this is add Landorus over Mamoswine. Mamo isnt great this gen and Landorus happens to fit his description exactly, just doing it a lot better to break stall teams. Hes faster, more powerful and can still set sr. I think he is a god asset to your team. You can also run knock off on here to beat chansey over focus blast, but you dont get a clear win vs skarm because of this.

    Landorus (M) @ Life Orb
    Ability: Sheer Force
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Earth Power
    - Psychic
    - Focus Blast
    - Stealth Rock

I think another precaution you could take vs stall is to add trick on latios, its a good move to take advantage of and incapacitate whichever wall is most annoying, usually chansey. Finally I think your venu could function a lot better with the following evs and synthesis added, to extend its longevity

    Venusaur (F) @ Venusaurite
    Ability: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 192 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 60 Spe
    Modest Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
    - Giga Drain
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Synthesis

Good luck and nice squad. I think np togekiss is worth a test too, to threaten stall more. You could also change some other stuff if you went down this route.

Really, Rock Slide doesn't do much for Mamoswine. Replace it with Ice Shard so that Mamoswine has some form of revenge-killing utility.

16 HP/252 Atk/240 SDef is the preferred spread for AV Azumarill to give it better special bulk, as seen in this example:

    252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Azumarill: 117-138 (28.9 - 34.1%) -- 2.2% chance to 3HKO

    252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 16 HP / 240 SpD Assault Vest Azumarill: 90-107 (26 - 31%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
