I took your advice and redid my team, good?
Why, oh why, are you using Play Rough on Dragalge? It runs off of its lower Attack and has redundant coverage with Draco Meteor. Use Sludge Wave as a secondary STAB so Dragalge hits Fairy Pokemon hard. You're wasting away Dragalge's niche of dealing with Fairies reliably. The Speed investment on Dragalge on the sets I posted is enough to outspeed Hippowdon, as it can, and will, outspeed Dralge and KO it with Earthquake if Dragalge lacks that Speed investment.
As I already mentioned before, don't bother with Cloyster. I already stated my reasons for it. Physically defensive Wash Rotom is the better alternative over it so you don't get boned by Talonflame.
Use U-turn on Therian Landorus so that it can act as a pivot to get your frail attackers in safely. Use the pure physically defensive variant for dealing with Talonflame better (i.e. the set I posted) or change your set's EVs to a more speedier variant, enough to outspeed +Speed Dragonite and Diggersby. Remove Gliscor; you already have Landorus as a Stealth Rock setter, and I wouldn't recommend having both Gliscor and Landorus on the team:
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge/Knock Off
-U-turn/Explosion
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spe
Item: Focus Sash/Soft Sand/Earth Plate
Considering that my previous suggestions made this a Volt-turn team, a Defog user like either one of the Latis would serve some use to get rid of hazards. Try to find a way to squeeze one of these in, but don't replace Landorus with either, as you need the hazard support:
Latias:
-Draco Meteor
-Psyshock/Hidden Power (Fire)
-Defog
-Healing Wish
Nature: Timid
EVs: 72 HP/184 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Latios:
-Draco Meteor
-Psyshock
-Hidden Power (Fire)/Earthquake/Defog
-Roost/Defog
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
I would change it to this:
Porygon-Z @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Tri Attack
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Trick
There really wasn't any need for the Attack EVs, they were actually kinda wasted. Modest Nature is far, far better on Porygon-Z than anything, as it boosts his already extraordinary Special Attack. Trick is put over HP FIghting, as it shuts down defensive Pokemon like Chansey and Clefable.
This would be a better moveset:
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Roost
With Life Orb + Roost, Scizor won't really need Swords Dance, since the boost from LO is enough to take out pretty much anything it needs to. U-Turn is used for STAB, and also to gain momentum and get the switch initiative. Superpower is good neutral coverage and generally just a strong move.
This is the set that I came up with:
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Trick
Choice Scarf Gengar is surprisingly effective, as it outspeeds and powers through anything in the tier not named Chansey. Hidden Power Ice is the best neutral coverage for Gengar, considering the other moves he has. Trick is there for the same reason as why it's on Porygon-Z.
Try this:
Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Spore
Special Attacks really aren't for Breloom, since his Special Attack stat is so abysmal and his Attack stat is far better. Jolly is better for him than Naive, since extra Speed means it can cause more pain faster. Rock Tomb is over Focus Blast, since it gets the benefits of Technician and Breloom's high Attack stat, and if you manage to keep your Focus Sash you can OHKO Talonflame. Mach Punch is much better than PuP since it goes first.
Here's what I made:
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
Despite Gliscor's surprisingly high Attack stat, it is much better Defensive than Offensive. Therefore, the EVs and Nature have been adjusted accordingly. Stealth Rock is for obvious reasons, laying down some entry hazards to get some nice chip damage on the opponent, and Toxic is to stall your opponents if it comes to that.
I would suggest this set:
Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Razor Shell
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
I wouldn't suggest White Herb on this guy, since Focus Sash guarantees at least two hits. Also, Razor Shell over Protect because Water STAB is always recommended on Cloyster, on top of having a high crit chance.
I'm no expert on competitive, really, but there are just a few suggestions that have worked wonders for me in the past. Good luck improving you team~
Porygon-Z is a bad Pokemon in OU for the reasons I stated. Not even bulk investment can save its frailty. Dragalge is a better Adaptability abuser because of its better defensive typing and bulk.
Bulk + Life Orb is a bad combo. Speedy offensive Swords Dance (regular) Scizor is a thing, you know. Mega Scizor pulls off bulky Swords Dance sets better because of its superior bulk. This is a no-Mega team, so that's out of the equation. Banded Scizor's main use is to scout and gain momentum with U-turn, revenge kill weakened targets with Bullet Punch, Pursuit trap weakened Ghosts/Psychics (or ruin a predicted switch with Knock Off), and land the occasional hard hit on Steels with Superpower.
Gengar is already fast by itself; I don't think it needs Choice Scarf to function. It also has good coverage in 2-3 moves, which is why Choice sets are kind of detrimental to how it functions.
Gliscor is redundant with Landorus, as both have the same typing. See why I suggested Therian Landorus instead, as it's a much better option on the team.
