heartgold is just to much fun. ill probably spend the rest of my time on that as black got stale after i beat it so yes. i will be playing gen 4

I don't think I'll be forgetting the older games. I plan on keeping all my current main team Pokemon in Platinum and I plan on playing through Leaf Green again once I finish White. I've accomplished too much in Platinum to just forget it and I've been looking forward to a Leaf Green playthrough for awhile now.

I'll still be playing my Soul Silver because of how much I liked 2nd gen but once I get White I won't be playing my Diamond,Pearl or Platinum anymore unless I'm transferring Pokemon. To tell the truth, I was done with those three when I got Soul Silver.

I'm one of those horrible people that move on without really looking back once the new games come out. After I received Pearl, I stopped playing FireRed. After I received Silver, I stopped playing Blue. It's just that the time between games is enough for me to be done with the previous ones that I'm ready for the new ones. Though since I've been playing the same save file on Pearl for nearly four years, it's slightly understandable.

I usually transfer my Pokémon over to the newer versions so I don't go back to the old games. I often regret it because I only have worthless Pokémon left in the end and I can't play them. I know I could restart but I usually don't have time for that. I'm not so sure this time. I think I might leave my Pokémon in SoulSilver so I can keep playing it. I enjoy having two regions to play through so I might keep the games seperate.

I did that too, I never really look back on RSE and FRLG.

I'll keep playing the older games as much as I do now (which isn't very much, since I don't have much time). I never transfer anything valuable across the generation gap. I associate each of my "main" Pokemon very strongly with the particular cartridge that it originates on, and I can't bear the thought of moving my Pokemon from their original game pak to a new one permanently.

I probably play all four generations pretty equally now (gens 1 and 2 less so, since many of the games are dead, but I play them when I can). I don't see a major change in my playing habits when Gen V comes out. A new generation will just mean a new team to grow attached to, but the old teams will still be on the older games, waiting for me to continue playing.

I never abandon the older generations. I always manage to pick up one of the older games, even with a brand new one out and play it for a while. While I love new things for the sake of satisfaction, I don't forget the old days. Heck, Gen 1's evolution music still stands as the best of all to me.

Nostalgia is a great thing to experience, it really helps you remember the old days and how you used to be when you were little. New games provide so much more stimulation to the brain when it comes to excitement and learning from something you love. I like to keep a balance between the two, because both emotions mean a lot to me. :3

I play normally as I don't have BW. But after I play BW and attempt to fill the Regional Dex, I'll go back to the Gen 4 games to continue filling their Dexes. 1 - 251 on HG with help from SS and Pt. And the 107 Sinnoh Pokemon on Pt. I'm not touching Hoenn because there might be remakes but it's Pt I'll collect Hoenn Pokemon on if I decide to.

I'll still play my old games, especially since you can transfer your Pokemon and keep your memories forever. :')
